Inspired by the S/O having the big 3 buuuut how would Mimic, Setsuno, Spinner, Compress, Tengai and Shigaraki (chose some from the LoV and the Hassaikai cuz I thought it'd be a but much to write for all of them) react to their big booba S/O hugging them and they get smushed against their chest (lets imagine S/O is either taller or they're both sitting down or somthing)

~Mimic~

-Reactions from Irinaka depend on what form he’s in. Usually it’s in his larger form that he doesn’t truly mind. I mean aside from him obviously WANTING to stick his face in your chest. In his smaller form is a different story. He kicks, screams, and curses you out if he has to. It’s not that he doesn’t want to be wedged in that chest of yours, oh no! He loves it and considers it to be heaven on Earth. The problem in this is that he prefers not being picked up so casually in his small form. It’s demeaning to him, even if it’s a hug from you (the person that he cares most about). He doesn’t want to run the risk of the guys seeing him dangling like a beanie baby in your arms, even if that means he has to let go of the opportunity to be face first in that chest of yours!

~Setsuno~

-Activates his internal struggling monologue. Part of him is like “mmmmm tits” while the other part is like “stop trying to fondle them, it’s disrespectful to the person you love”! It’s a little entertaining seeing him meltdown over something so simple. You have your little laugh here and there, but you also take the time to remind him that it’s okay to wanna be where you are. You two are dating after all, right? He still tries his best to be polite when you hug him, but that’s so difficult when you’ve got a face full of mommy milkers.

~Spinner~

-Starts stuttering like crazy but is he pushing you away? Oh no, not yet of course. Even though it’s a shocking and sudden gesture that has his head well...spinning...it’s still so very attractive to him. If you only knew the power you held over him on a daily basis. This man would kiss the ground that you walked on if you commanded him. Not just because he found you undeniably attractive, but because he was in love with you. In fact, you’re the first person he’s fallen for completely that accepted him as him but that’s a story for another time. Spinner definitely is the type to become distraught and flustered when you hug him like that. Please don’t ever stop it.

~Compress~

-He feels bad interpreting this gentle and sweet hug as something scandalous. Yet he couldn’t resist sneaking a cheesy flirtatious line in between the gesture. It takes him a little bit to stop his mind from running a million miles an hour. Nearly being crushed to death by a large set of titties can cause even a person like him to have rather lewd thoughts. He’s quite slick with it, a real gentleman in fact. So smooth that a few of those cheesy line landed you in bed right where he wanted you. If you could be alluring with just a hug, then he could do the same with his careful planned words.

~Tengai~

-You’re squeezing the life out of him to which he utters a quiet ‘ow, love please...’ and you stop. He’s working his way up to giving you a little lecture about it (as he usually does with everything) when his eyes land on your chest and he feels himself once again under that damned trance. This has happened before with you, but he thought he had it under control up until now. He’s not the type to act upon his urges as most would do. Tengai actually the type to take a freezing cold shower when he gets a boner and blah blah. He shows incredible restraint when it comes to you. If only he can get his eyes back on track too 

~Shigaraki~

-Wouldn’t react as sleezily as Dabi probably would, but he will admit (silently to himself) that he loves the way it feels when you give him a hug like this. Even if you were to squeeze every last breath from him, he’s still down for one of your enthusiastic and busty hugs. However, he’s not so keen on seeing you hug another person like this. He gets the jealousy bug even when it’s people that he can trust like Kurogiri. You’re probably left wondering what you did wrong when he pulls you away from certain people after giving them a hug. The man is on the verge of switching you to handshakes soon!

monk by another name

Personally, I don’t put too much weight into Law’s attachment to faith from Flevance  although the imagery hits hard (and I appreciate the art). 

But, and I’ve written it before (Flevance and Wano pics in that post), I do find it interesting that his disguise in Wano is of a komusō Buhddist monk (belonging to the Fuke school of Zen Buddhism), and so again he gets linked with religion, though not on a personal level (that we know of). That particular order suits him though.

As also said in the past, it ties into his SBS stated hobby of wandering, and also ties into the tradition/history of many ronin becoming komusō and the monks themselves often being warrior monks, and both rebels and government spies infiltrating the orders. The government wiped them out too, although the music they wrote remains. Wiki says:

komusō temples and their monks were abolished in 1871

I’m not sure what abolishing a monk entails. I know the order (or outfit) is a staple of Japanese storytelling—whether in anime or historical drama—but yeah, if the spiritual path is being focused on, there is cosmetic and maybe deeper development (since in either case, from Law himself, we’ve only got the cosmetic, but it’s plenty of material for fanfic and fanarts, which is great).

 Samurai were the ones most often trained in the shakuhachi, btw.

Also, I like this post and episode for its focus on Law’s tengai and outfit, Especially the shakuhachi played in the background like the amazing pan flute (I think) in the opening of Sergio Leone’s The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, which was a remake of Kurosawa’s film Yojimbo. 

Gonna have to hunt down the Kurosawa film and see if the shakuhachi is used at that entrance point (some posts say it’s a cliched Hollywood way of interpreting Japanese film). Getting sidetracked now. That whole filmic section is just one of favourite anime moments. Sorely underrated. Ha-ha. Although meta wrapped in a meta wrapped in a homage wrapped in a meta.
