Two kinds of people 😂
Today’s needless fixation brought to you by rewatching The Visitation. The sci-fi metal MacGuffin “tinclavic,” associated with the Terileptils and the Hakolians, creators of the evil Malus, is naturally secreted by the sentient spaceships used by Seeing I and The Infinity Doctor’s horrifying and monstrous race the I. It’s a really tiny continuity fluff that nevertheless gives the I a thematic tether to other really interesting Who monsters and lore, so I dunno, just really love little bits like that.

“Our work is complete. I will deliver it to our base in London this evening for immediate release. And I have more news. I have discovered a group of time travellers. Soon they will be our prisoners, and their ship under our control.”
Behind the Sofa on The Visitation, with Sophie Aldred and Mark Strickson... "Terror laptop" for Terileptil 😂😂

Magical History Tour: What Really Started the Great Fire of London in 1666?
Everyone really knows that the Terileptils were responsible for the Great Fire of London in 1666, or at least the Fifth Doctor is, thanks to his sonic screwdriver going kablooey. That is, according to The Visitation. But we’ve got historians who disagree with those accounts and instead blame the fire on… well, let’s find out, shall we? The blaze lasted from 2nd to 6th September, and gutted the…

Who I Want to See Return to Who Pt. 1
Doctor Who has had a long run and it's most known for its highly inventive monsters and villains, both in classic and new Who. There are so many villains that the show as a whole introduced has and it would seem like a waste if none of them were to ever return again. I'm leaving the Master out of this list, because it's obvious enough that every Whovian wants him back, and I don't find any reason to explain the obvious. With that in mind, here's who/what else I'd like to see return:
1. The Rani
She has so many appearances in the Big Finish audio dramas and other stories, but her presence on the show was so short-lived, I'd have wanted to see more of her simply because she was a genius. She had ruled an entire planet and I want to know what happened to that (that question already has an answer, doesn't it?). She was a competent archaeologist and biologist as well as a brilliant chemist. I simply wanted to see her tear time apart. Of course, the Doctor would be there to stop her, but it'd be brilliant to see again.
2. The Silurians
Yes, we've had more of them recently, especially with the Paternoster Gang, but there's only one of them. I want to see something more like The Hungry Earth/Cold Blood or Warriors of the Deep, something with deep conflict and dire consequences. It would also be interesting to see Madame Vastra come to make difficult decisions between her race and her friends.
3. The Great Intelligence
Considering he's a massless entity composed of information, it's hard to for him to die. The Doctor once tried to drain the Intelligence, but Jamie got in the way of that, allowing him to escape (making his return valid). Considering: a. his ability to overtake Whispermen and; b. Clara and the Doctor's ability to leave the Doctor's timestream (again SOMEHOW!!!!!!), there should be no problem for him to return once more.
4. The Terileptils
They hadn't had much of a run, nor did they have much of imposing introduction, but they had a potential for something greater. They're mentioned in the new show, but not much else is seen from them. They could prove to be a more terrifying force if they're just given that chance.
