The way tf!Sausage and tf!Legs have been treating tf!Graecie have really been getting to me. Because, they mean well. I know they mean well. But they're really fucking it up.

This ended up long sorry guys

I think tf!Legs is trying so hard to walk the line between making sure she's okay and is taking care of herself while not controlling her or ordering around, and he's fumbling it (like everything lmao). I get it's frustrating, and he's being so patient, but whenever he tries to subtly bring it up through teasing it can come across as a dig, which tf!Graecie then internalises. The "do more" bit hurt my heart. And everything else he says she can just excuse away. He needs to word stuff better they can't go on like this.

Oh and also, he just assumes everything now. "You say you're fine but that doesn't mean you're fine" like yeah you have a point but also she's never actually been fine. At this point her genuinely feeling fine and okay is a win in my book just let her have this please I'm begging you.

And tf!Sausage... my boy is just threatening her atp. Telling her she'll go back to the nightmare realm will just make her want to sleep even less. Telling her off every time she does a blessing just makes her do more (I would genuinely do the same thing out of spite tbf). It just means she doesn't share what's wrong anymore because she'll get told off for not taking care of herself more.

Additionally, he keeps pushing his very black and white world views onto tf!Graecie. And sure, he's right about some of them. But he's also wrong a lot (coughs in tf!Pyro defender I don't even watch him but I agree with him on this 100% Tim had to go). Since tf!Graecie literally sees everyone as nice... what stops her from ignoring him when it really counts because she just doesn't want to hear it anymore?

It didn't really hit me until tf!Pyro came back. Pyro Dagmeare the man that you are I never doubted you for a second idc about the haters. He made more progress in around forty minutes than tf!Legs and tf!Sausage have done in weeks. Bravo my g. I love this duo and the rescue stream reminded me exactly why.

He actually treats tf!Graecie like an adult. The spirit of transparency is working. Part of it might be that he also have what seems to be a complex relationship with his faith (from what I gathered I'm not a Pyro main but that's the vibe I got). But he also speaks to her like an equal. They actually had a very intelligent conversation on what had been going on where tf!Graecie explained her view on the Tim situation, and on the poisonings, and he actually listened.

He doesn't see himself as a person above others (at least morally in comparison to tf!Sausage if that makes sense). He speaks to with respect, calls her Grace which is just everything to me, and is just a very active listener in conversation. Like I wish I had him in my life to just nod along to my ramblings and say "mhm" "oh fair enough" "interesting". Tf!Pyro treats her like an equal, he calls both of them wanderers, and just validates her in the stuff which isn't as big of a deal as people make out to be, at least imo. Like when she walks off.

I mean, he has a point. Tf!Graecie is twenty years old. She might be naive, but she's not stupid. She's actually aware of her naivety which is the first step in the right direction. She's ignorant about most of the world, sure, but she has her own mind. If she doesn't want to hear something, she's just going to up and leave, and there isn't a lot wrong with that (minus the avoidance issues but ehhhh).

Tf!Pyro is right, people shouldn't be angry at tf!Graecie for wandering off and tell her off like a child. Following her to check in is fully valid, but everyone needs space. She's faced danger alone, and escaped. Several of her spells aid this. It's been proven time and time again that she's an excellent navigator. She can now see in the dark. If she's lost, she can literally send a massive flare into the sky. She'll be fine.

So...yeah. I got a bit sidetracked there.

I do fully understand where tf!Legs and tf!Sausage are coming from though. I think it worked before when tf!Zam was around because girlie is a bit spineless, so tf!Graecie had someone that would agree with her while gently suggesting other ways to handle things. There was balance.

But now they just aren't doing the right thing. I don't think any of them know what the right thing is atp, and neither do I tbf. I'm fully prepared for tf!Sausage to just crack and lash out in some fashion, driving her away. We've already seen how she can just fully ignore tf!Legs when he upset her. I'm scared there will be a fallout.

But I do have a lot of faith in tf!Pyro, in the sense of the deprogramming. And I also have faith in tf!Maddy in terms of helping tf!Legs but also helping tf!Graecie take care of herself. I missed these Australians glad they got out of the cage/silly.

I also trust in Juniper in the sense that she's going to be the one that actually asks the right questions. They all need more information on the flock but literally no one but her has actually been getting any recently.

This can be fixed. But it could also fall apart. But I love these wonderfully complex characters and the creators behind each of them, so I know either way I'll be eating it up <33

Maddy definitely suffers the most as being a victim to Pyro’s arrogance considering where it’s landed them both at the moment.

When they took a trip to the dragon’s crypt and he shot fire at the statue there- Maddy, who literally has DRAGON MAGIC and has a special connection to them- later had a talk with him about how the dragon spirits weren’t exactly thrilled with him because of what he did. Only for Pyro to keep insisting that he was showing respect and disregarding Maddy’s words when she would be the expert here on what’s respectful and what’s not respectful in a DRAGON CRYPT. Unfortunately, Pyro disregarding Maddy’s words is gonna come back up again, in a critical way.

Also just to mention the Tim stuff because even when Maddy didn’t outright condemn Pyro for his decision making regarding Tim, he still had to have an attitude about it with her and then had the audacity afterwards to ask her to play spy for whispers regarding the incident. Really rolling critical failures in charisma there pal. Maddy Millkberry’s is stronger than me for sure, I truly admire her poise, strength, and common sense.

Hey speaking of traits that Maddy possesses, I liked how all of these traits would’ve saved them from being captured if Pyro just listened to Maddy for two seconds. No one wants to bring it up but I think this entire situation is kind of showing why that whole leaving the academy thing was doomed to fail.. mostly because Pyro was leading the charge. Don’t get me wrong, I love TF!Pyro, but he is just not ready for half of the things he says he’s ready for out there and this situation is a great example why. Maddy, over and over again, asked Pyro to turn back. From the moment things started getting sketchy she insisted to Pyro that they do smart and reasonable thing of turning around and getting more people to back them up before they get in over their heads. Pyro’s response to her concerns? Completely disregarding them! Dancing between flat out ignoring her warnings and calls for leaving one moment to insisting they go deeper anyways. It’s like he wasn’t even hearing her at all at some points and it makes me so sad for her. He was too tunnel visioned, too obsessed with finding out more and going further and further despite pleas for otherwise and the red flags all around them. Maddy’s family is literally involved with/a part of the city guards. Maddy would definitely have the right instincts to know when something is a bit too sketchy and that they need to leave effective immediately. But of course Pyro’s hubris ends up screwing them both over, because he doesn’t know when to stop when he critically needs to and it’s Maddy who is ultimately paying for it.

Now they’ve been trapped by some ominous shadowy person, in the middle of who knows where, and with barely any food. I can’t blame Maddy for breaking down into tears like she did because this situation is absolutely cooked. Yet despite everything she still prioritizes Ambi’s health and safety above her own. Trying to make bargains with the shadow person for the dragons sake, which was admirable even if it refused to say anything to either her or Pyro.

I just feel so bad for TF!Maddy. None of what happened was her fault at all and she tried her absolute best to get them both out of there safely. It’s gonna be one long month trapped alongside the guy who got you and your dragon into this situation in the first place.

My main pov Scott won't be streaming The Flight for a few weeks which is giving me time to catch up on some other povs. So I'm watching Maddy (Millkberry) and omg I need more tf!Maddy and Scott interactions!

I need to see the two of them chatting and swapping Pyro stories and just becoming friends. I want them to become friends soooo much. I feel like they would get along so well, but their interactions are very few and far between. (I also want tf!Scott to make friends outside of Vulpes, including the Celestial Metals group)

So, with the whole spy/rebels situation, I'm making my two brain cells work together to like poke holes in others backstories. But, I can't really do that when I know basically nothing about their lore lol, so I was wondering if you could give me a brief rundown of their backgrounds, if you don't mind! Thank you!
