TFC Scent Marking Headcanon

Hello everyone, this Scent Marking Headcanon is for lunaria1. I hope you enjoy this lunaria1😊.

Pierrot

Pierrot's scent mark smells like honey and vanilla; gentle and sweet.

Pierrot scent marks MC by rubbing his face into the crook of MC's neck.

If Pierrot sees somebody flirting with MC: If Pierrot sees somebody flirting with MC, he will quietly get behind said person and wait for them to turn around. Once the person feels the burning glare on their neck they turn around and see Pierrot, tall and intimidating. The person immediately leaves.

In Pierrot's Tent: ( All the monsters don't know that humans don't scent mark, and that definitely includes Pierrot. ) Pierrot believes that it's his fault; he thinks he didn't scent you properly enough. Once inside his tent, Pierrot picks MC up, places them on his bed, holds them close , and rubs himself all over MC. He is gentle, carefully covering you in his scent from head to toe. MC doesn't have the heart to tell him that humans don't scent mark.

Harlequin

Harlequin's scent mark smells like lemon and lime; sharp and acidic, but in a refreshing way.

Harlequin scent marks MC by wrapping his tentacles around MC from behind and rubbing his face into the back of MC's neck.

If Harlequin sees somebody flirting with MC, he will wrap his arms around MC from behind, rest his head on their shoulder, and look directly at the person and listen to the interaction for a bit for entertainment. After a while, he will cut into the conversation and say some passive-aggressive things, which he definitely DOESNT try to hide. The person who was flirting with MC will pick up on this and quickly leave.

In Harlequin's Tent: Once MC is inside Harlequin's tent, he will make a game out of scenting MC. Just like in the game, the tent will get dark, and he will use that to his advantage. He will make MC guess where he will scent them.

Doctor

Doctor's scent mark smells like herbs and flowers; natural and soft, but oddly soothing.

He let's MC sit in his lap. He doesn't do grand displays when scenting.

When somebody flirts with MC, all Doctor has to do is stand behind the person and wait for them to turn around. Once the person turns around, they immediately leave. They do not want to be around the hulking plague doctor giant.

In Doctor's Tent: He will lead MC to his tent, sit down in his work chair where his desk is, sit MC in his lap. He will rub MC against his chest while he reads human anatomy and biology books to understand why his scent didn't scare off that person earlier.

Ticket Taker

Ticket Taker's scent mark smells like old leather and tea leaves; strong and old-fashioned, but calm and quiet.

Ticket Taker scent marks MC by holding them close. It's a quick embrace and doesn't last long, but his scent is still on MC.

When somebody flirts with MC, Ticket Taker walks over and escorts the person away from MC. He will either lead the person out of the circus and ban them, or he takes them to the pink tent.

In Ticket Takers Tent: At the end of the day, Ticket Taker will sit MC on his lap while he does work so he can one, keep a better eye on them, and two, keep his scent on them and make the scent stronger.

Jester

Jester's scent mark smells like lavender and chamomile; calming and sleep inducing.

The way he scent marks is by having MC sit on his lap, run his hands over their body, and rub his face all over their neck.

If somebody tries to flirt with MC, Jester will have one of his many Fools distract the person and take that person to the pink tent for Jester to deal with them later. While the Fools do that, Jester leads his precious pet into his tent for another scenting session.

In Jester's Tent: Jester sits down in his chair, sits MC down on his lap, and starts scenting them all over again, all the while complaining about that filthy human.

Columbina

Columbina's scent mark smells like sugar and roses; sweet and delicate.

Columbina scent marks by cuddling MC tightly, rubbing her cheek against MC's cheek happily.

If somebody starts flirting with MC, Columbina will kindly ask one of the other members of the circus to help her out. She doesn't want to hurt anybody. She just wants to get MC away from that person.

In Columbina's Tent: Columbina will lay down with MC on her bed and cuddle them all the while with a pout and puffed up cheeks, showing her frustration. She will cling tightly to MC until the both of them fall asleep in eachothers arms.

Lets say Harlequin got to be vulnerable around Pierrot...Im talking about a huge meltdown and crying in front of him.Do you think Pierrot would comfort him?Maybe hug him?

I think he would begrudgingly try to comfort him. Just lets out a heavy sigh and admits to himself that he can't just leave Harlequin like this. He sits down with him, lets him cry and vent, more or less drowning out what he's actually saying because he's not here to solve Harlequin's problems that he probably brought upon himself. He can't really do anything anyway because he can't talk. So he just kinda holds Harlequin until he finally calms down.

And when Harlequin's tears are finally dried and he's not a complete mess, he ruins the tender moment by saying "Wow. Okay. I hated that. You suck at this comfort thing, by the way" and then Pierrot immediately pushes him away and goes about his business.

Just gotta add this here real quick-

With the new tfc comic just now, I reaaally enjoyed seeing how all the circus members really care for each other soo much, you just gotta see it through where they are coming from with their choices and how each of them would react differently when faced with a problem. YES INCLUDING HARLEQUIN!!🫵 cause HOOOLD ON THAT ONE SCENE DID NOT GO UNNOTICED IN MY EYES!

The fact that he's the first one to consider to help Pierrot out of that situation instead of the others is reaaally interesting to me!! like OMAAYGOSH DUDE we are getting more snippets of Harlequin really does care for him- but of course in his own way (which that's not gonna go unnoticed to us fans tho of course 🫵 we can see that!! >:D)

but maaaaan he just can't stop self-sabotaging when he's right in front of Pierrot.

Also gosh I can reaally see why Pierrot see's Jester as kind (I mean we already knew from the AMA questions and the previous comic) cause wow Jester is sooo mindful and understanding when it comes to the members plus with possibly that soothing voice too- yeah that just adds a cherry on top👌✨

Although he did give him a rule to stay silent in public, but I can't really blame Jester since that rule was in fact effective for a long period of time and did keep them safe somehow, until mc showed up in game-

Ya'll, I don't know if I'm the only one who struggles with this, but I have to come clean.

Sigh... I hate drawing Jester.

NOT THE CHARACTER HIMSELF.

I absolutely LOVE this purple clown and exploring his character, especially with my own clown oc. I love all the other art I see other people making of him. So why, oh why, is he so hard for me to draw?

I think it's because my brain thinks he's too beautiful for my artstyle. Or he's just being the sadist he is and loves seeing me struggle drawing him in all his beauty. 😅

I do really admire how other artists draw him. Ya'll draw him so beautifully! 🥹

If you really don't believe how much I don't like drawing Jester's beautiful figure, here's a tally of how many times I drew each of the clowns (from 1st to 5th):

Harlequin — winning by 10 drawings in total (he's also just my fav to draw. LOVE the curly hair)

Pierrot — 8 drawings (cuz he's baby. That's why)

Ticket Taker — 6 drawings (mostly including silly nsfw drawings with my sona. I won't be posting those here. Sorry... 😅)

Doctor — 5 drawings (for not really drawing muscular men, this man is very easy for me to draw.)

Jester — losing with only 3 drawings under my belt (then why, oh why, am I making a 4th drawing of him rn?!)

(Jack does win by having the most drawings I've done of him. More than ten I think)

Anyway, if anyone else struggles with drawing any of the characters, please tell me who and what you struggle with drawing the most in the comments. With Jester, it can literally just be his face, hair, expression, and that huge ass hat.

My Top 25 Jester Headcanons

Hello everyone, I hope you are enjoying my headcanons. I have noticed that the TFC headcanons are slowing down a bit. I love headcanons, imagines, and drabbles on Tumblr. I hope you all enjoy my personal headcanons😊.

Jester

Jester LOVES mushrooms 🍄.

Jester has Wine Aunt Energy 🍷.

Jester has a matching pocket watch like Ticket Takers, but his is silver, not gold.

Jester's favorite flavor of food is bitter.

Like Ticket Taker, who collects suits, Jester collects silk robes.

Jester takes his sweet time with foreplay. He loves to slowly pleasure his partner/MC. He wants to watch their face contort with pleasure as he slowly takes them apart and puts them back together again.

Jester's monster form is spider like.

When Jester is in heat/rut and plans on impregnating his partner/MC, he does the same thing as the other members of the circus do... except for Pierrot. He lays eggs. It's sort of the same way Harlequin does it, but it's slightly different. Before he cums he holds onto MC tightly, bottoms out inside them, and pumps his eggs inside them. After his eggs are inside MC he then cums and fertilizes the eggs. His eggs are the size of ping-pong balls. They look like oversized boba pearls. The amount of eggs he lays inside his partner/MC ranges from 20 to 40 eggs.

His cum has a slight sickly sweet taste, but the aftertaste tastes like how lavender smells.

Jester is able to make silk in his monster form.

Jester smells like rich bitter alcohol, strong expensive cologne, and lavender. It's dizzying and intoxicating.

Jester is like a tired mom. He just lets Pierrot and Harlequin fight until they tire each other out.

Sometimes at night, when everyone is asleep, Jester cries silently from the memories of the past, of the ringleader, of... Columbina.

He doesn't like pop tarts.

Jester likes to pour alcohol onto his partner/MC's body and lick it off.

Jester's kisses taste like bitter wine, dark chocolate, and lavender. It's intoxicating and addictive, leaving you wanting more.

At the end of the day, Jester would let his partner/MC sit on his lap and read to them.

When he has a nightmare, he will hold his partner/MC's hand.

After his heat/rut, he gets clingy.

He likes coffee more than tea.

He knows how to play the cello.

His favorite season is winter, when everything is quiet.

So i did some thinking about the tiny circus AU because well... I want cute little handheld clowns.

So anyway. This is another "experiment went wrong" scenario with Doctor kind of. Uncharacteristically screwing up an experiment.

Pierrot insists on taking his family with him to MC because he trusts MC.

MC is. Obviously very confused but still accepts the weird tiny circus members into their home. They're also very impressed they even got to the apartment safely. As tiny as they were, they could have been easily scooped up by a bird of prey or something.

Anyway, now MC has five weird little clowns in their apartment. Being around them constantly MC definitely realizes there's something else a bit off about them. Besides the whole being tiny thing.

Pierrot and Harlequin basically try to spend the most time around MC. This results in fighting and despite them being very tiny, it's too risky for MC to intervene and they generally prefer to let Jester and Doctor and Ticket Taker handle things, especially if blood starts flying everywhere

Columbina

Her favorite season is Spring, she loves flowers.

Columbina is STRONG. She looks cute and dainty like a porcelain doll, but don't let that fool you. She could throw a full-grown human with one hand over one of the circus tents.

Columbina LOVES it when he partner/MC paints her nails and hooves.

Her favorite fruit is apples.

Columbina is the most emotionally intelligent one in the circus.

Okay so- here’s the thing anon…I might end up rambling on this one becausee, instead of talking about each of the members separately all I could think of is some possible choices mc could choose that leads to either a continuation or a bad ending with this scenario.

Continuation scenario: if mc has been around with the circus members for let’s say a weeks/months now, and they’re close to either harlequin or Pierrot (or both) to soome extent. here’s some e scenario’s I could think of

scenario 1: Harlequin and mc doing a quick banter moment and during the heat of the moment he grabs the glasses and decides to wear it to tease mc but then notices the the contents in the lense. at first he’d definitely tease about it while also probe for some information about it in between from mc in a “Harlequin way”,(the vibes could get unsettling real quick depends on mc's choice of words) but he will ponder about it afterwards that despite all those blaring warning signs you still decided to hang around them and Pierrot. (And maybe test the waters even more see how far mc would accept them)

scenario 2: mc decides to go in one of the rides in the circus and puts the monocle on their pocket, somewhere along the way the monocle fell off and ticket taker finds it, he remembers who it belongs to and gives it back to mc, but before handing it back, while inspecting the lense he notices the contents inside, (of course Ticket taker will inform Jester about this discovery) in this scenario tho mc will now be constantly monitored than ever (even tho they already are). mc’s chances of dying here is high, since they could be a threat to the circus with their device if they hand it to the authorities. at the same time they will be monitored at a distance, since mc stayed for a while now despite this information served like a silver platter, Jester would be watching them from a distance observing how far mc would crack eventually or stay loyal and friendly to the other two circus members.

(this scenario CAN lead to "Bad Ending: Tread carefully" if mc shows any signs of fears, nervousness and suspicion that they found out)

Scenario 3: if Doctor were to find out, let's say during a checkup he has to check mc's eyes for dilation, he takes off their monacle for a sec and in the process he got a quick glance at the contents of the monacle. And finds out about the heart rate and brain activity on the lense, then he WILL be curious about it, wondering if that's the reason why mc has been so calm this whole time interacting around them (could this monacle been guiding mc all along on how to interact to them so rationally) if so Doctor decides to proceed to a new checkup while mc is still strapped without the glasses, checking how high their adrenaline can get without the influence of the glasses. (If mc's attitude remains calm during the check up, then they get to live another day BUT Doctor will inform Jester about this which CAN trigger the "tread carefully ending" unless mc stays calm and rational, If mc is terrified during the whole process then they can become a test subject/puppet)

Scenario 5: for Pierrot it could be any scenario's where he finds out about it, in his case he would probably not mention about it since his priority is obsessing on mc than the monacle, that doesn't mean he won't question it tho- he will constantly think about it at the back of his mind "is that how mc see me this whole time?" While at the same time "despite all that, mc is still here, which means they do love me!" He won't tell Jester about this discovery tho.

BAD ENDING:

[DISCARDED] : Nothing really happens with mc's monacle in this ending, this is the path where mc gets the pink ticket on day 1, mc is not even considered a threat in the first place since they're merely just a sustenance. All items is discarded afterwards just like the rest of the victims (in this scenario the monacle isn't fully functional due to mc's personality being more closed off and impatient)

[TREAD CAREFULLY] : This scenario can soo easily be triggered as long as Jester or Ticket taker finds out about the monacle.

-if mc decides to act waaay too cautious and waay too distant interacting with the members at day two then BAM! ending activates! (cause why would mc be soo cautious for no reason hmm??)

-if mc was way more scared/nervous/anxious and constantly touching their glasses while interacting with any of them, BAM! ending activates!

-if any on the member finds out and decides to report to Jester about it, BAM! ending activates!

-if even Ticker taker of Jester finds out then BAM! ending activates!
