WTF IS THIS DEVELOPMENT *screams into the void*

I guess Kaneki has finally worn his king suit we saw in the illustration by sensei! Maybe the reason he’s supposedly drenched in blood is that he’s either been feeding from humans or been canibalizing! There’s a possibility that there’s been a timeskip! Also it seems Kaneki’s holding a quinque so what if he’s been killing off investigators lately and gained this quinque from them?! Mysterious!
if Naki dies, I die.
CAN WE, take a MOMENT to CAPTURE THIS BEAUTIFUL ESSENCE, in who is Tsukiyama Shuu?! He's so beautiful that it should be a crime....
TG fandom needs to stop kidding itself. We all know what’s in that box Nishio gave Touka, dont we???
Our boy Kaneki is about to be a DAD and we’ve all collectively become grandparents.
congratulations to us.
Have you read chapter 127 yet!? Thoughts? Do you think the kid they brought in was a spy? How much time has passed? Touka pregnant you think? Goats plan of action from this point on???
I liked this chapter a lot because it allowed us to see Goat through the eyes of the common Ghoul, and really made it hit home how influential Kaneki has become - providing shelter for defenceless Ghouls (and thus building his army), educating Naki, and having an entire base kneel to him on his arrival. The awe he inspires in Ghouls is really something to marvel at, especially when you think back to how he started as nothing more than hopeless prey for a Ghoul.
But Kaneki has always had that effect - either through his kindness (Human) or his strength (Ghoul), he’s always been able to inspire people and win them to his side. Nishiki is an example of the former and Tsukiyama the latter, but the whole of Goat is really made up of people whose lives have been changed by Kaneki’s influence. Such is the power of the Half-Ghoul, that combines the greatest qualities of both worlds and so touches the hearts of thousands.
For some reason a large part of the fandom seems to believe Kaneki is a bad leader, and I don’t really know why beyond the assumption that :re is going to end in tragedy, which you already know I strongly disagree with. Thus far as King, Kaneki has convinced an incredibly diverse selection of people to get behind him, has performed a successful military operation with zero Goat casualties, and has saved Goat from being annihilated by the Oggai by splitting them up before they could arrive. Sounds like a damn good leader if you ask me, and 127 proves that more than ever. And after all, with Kaneki as king, the play went surprisingly well…and all the world’s a stage.
I don’t think Kou is a spy (the CCG seemed pretty intent on genuinely killing him), I think he’s just our way of seeing Goat from the outside - in many ways, he’s like Kaneki at the start of the manga, persecuted and alone; but where Anteiku once helped Kaneki, Goat is helping Kou. Kaneki is truly honouring his predecessors’ legacies - not just Arima and Eto’s writ of revolutionary violence, but the gentle aid of Yoshimura as well. That’s not to say Kou’s not going to be important late on though, I think there’s a real chance he might be.
Yep, I think Touka is pregnant, so I would put the timeskip between one and two months for her to have had enough time to find out, and for Goat to have established a large-scale secondary base.
I dunno what’s up with Kaneki atm, could be that it’s part of his developing kakuja. But henceforth, I think once Goat has finished training up its rookies I think they’re going to have no choice but to cut off the head of the snake and storm the CCG Headquarters directly - probably using the underground system established by the Ghouls to launch a surprise attack (love how that information planted in the earliest chapters is blooming now). It’s the only way to bring a quick end to the Oggai’s brutal and frighteningly effective purges.
can anyone explain to me what the actual Fuck is going on in the new chapter
Why indeed. You tell me, Ishida. The heck is going on????? Since Tsukiyama acknowledged him, I assume this is Kaneki. But why is he looking like this, dripping with blood(?) Is he just putting up a dramatic show or what? Maybe the king just returned from the battlefield, drenched of his enemies blood...
