I just wanted to give my two cents about something.

“Let’s Get Dangerous” has already aired and it blows my mind about how many people are still upset by this.

When I finished the episode, I read/watched several reviews, comments, and forums about how upset fans were and still are that Drake didn’t adopt Gosalyn by the end of the episode.

I’m positive I’m not the only one who sees the obvious reason why him adopting her wouldn’t work within the context of the episode as of right now.

Sure, in the original Darkwing Duck, Gos was already an orphan so of course we’d be okay with her being part of a new family.

But in the DT reboot, she lost her parents and Thaddeus was all she had.

So to lose him very suddenly, with hope that there’s a possible chance he’s still alive, of course she’s not going to want to be adopted by Drake. That’s not realistic.

I know it’s a show about talking ducks but bear with me.

Now if whoever is in charge of creating the Darkwing Duck reboot, makes the smart decision to team up with the DT crew to continue where “Let’s Get Dangerous” left off, because Youngberg and Angones gave that premise so much potential to be the pilot for the series, so it can show Drake and Gos growing closer.

It would be the perfect opportunity to see them bond and strengthen their relationship which would eventually show just how much of a father he is to her.
