Still thinking about that fucked up Thalia/Luke/Annabeth love triangle </3 like Luke and Thalia don’t want her involved at ALL but she’s a smart kid and she’s GOING to keep finding a way to be nosy and (metaphorically emotionally physically what have you) worm her way into their sex life. As much as they’re going to deny it they aren’t as repulsed as the pretend to be

if anything thalia very much does not want her involved, luke is Totally With Her on that (he’s not)

there are so many ways in which it could go. annabeth watching their tape and getting off to it, luke finds her like that and explodes—he’s angry, embarrassed, and most of all, turned on. he takes the tape back (i’m thinking it’s an actual vhs to give it that 90s white trash town ethel cain vibe), but little does he know annabeth made a copy.

annabeth can’t stop thinking about everything in that video—thalia’s pale skin dotted with freckles, how she kept on her spiked choker and let luke pull her around with it. how luke fucked her from behind, strong arms wrapped around her, smug praise and degradation pouring from smirking handsome lips.

luke can’t stop thinking about annabeth getting off to it—her top had been raised to allow her to tease at her nipples, though her hair covered everything too much for him to see. her hand was moving quickly underneath her skirt, clearly close and deprived by luke’s intrusion.

and god, thalia would kill the both of them. it was absolutely out of the question. she was too overprotective to allow annabeth to experience the pleasure she (and luke) wanted.

then again…if she was too protective of her, maybe it would be safer to only let her experience that pleasure with the both of them? it would be safer with them than one of those boys at annabeth’s college, anyway. now if only luke could convince thalia to believe the same…

There’s so much wasted potential I tell you. Girl who was kind of like your big sister when you were little but she died and you haven’t seen her in years but now she’s back and wait you’re kind of the same age now that’s weird and wait was she always cute like that?? AND she was fucking the older guy you like but hey there’s other things you can do instead of being jealous of each other

you’re so right too anon,, i lowkey adore the “i’m jealous of you over Some Guy but wait neither of us give a shit about the guy we should just make out” sapphic pipeline

i think luke’s always been a man of his own interests—yes he cares for annabeth and knows deep down what is right for her but he doesn’t let that take precedence over his desires for her.

with thalabeth however i think it would be a lot harder for her to actually give in to how she feels about annabeth when she comes back to life. like thalia always told annabeth she was pretty as a kid, but once she comes back to life she sees annabeth really grew into her looks and looks like a princess, she’s smarter and braver and wittier than ever and thalia doesn’t know how to process it.

i feel like they would be walking on eggshells around each other at first, unsure of what their relationship should look like—they can’t go back to the old dynamic but they can’t very well pretend it didn’t exist. couple that up with the luke betrayal of it all and it’s beyond messy.

i imagine there would be a bit of a trial for annabeth to prove to thalia that she can hold her own now, maybe she even saves thalia a couple times. i think at one point the adrenaline would kick in/maybe a “they might not get out of this alive” situation and thalia kisses annabeth. once they get out and calm down thalia panics and feels horrible but annabeth insists she returns thalia’s feelings and that everything’s okay

i also feel like obv luke would bring even more problems from the titan’s side. any time there’s a confrontation obviously there’s still that weird love triangle jealousy element. if luke found out about annabeth and thalia being together he might torment them both about it (“our little sister, really thalia?” “you just wanted to taste me when you kiss thalia, didn't you, annabeth?”).

overall it would be just. some really really good soup
