In the season 1 finale Zeus smiles when Poseidon mentions that Percy is like Thalia, a brave hero who inspires demigods. I thought Zeus was smiling because he cared about Thalia and because her actions brought him glory. However, I know now it's because he was happy that Poseidon bought his lie about the Furies killing Thalia.
