Ahem,

Nova's relationship with her mother is/was... fine. Well, better than with her father. Nova's mother was always a little emotionally distant, she tried her best but,, y’know, being a single mother is hard in Hyrule I imagine. Her mother loved her but she never could quite get over that pang of pain she saw whenever she thought about how much Nova looks like Makil. Their relationship got better as Nova grew up, and they were more like friends than mother and daughter.

Ouch but with Makil? There was barely a relationship there. Okay well, maybe it was more like, whenever they saw each other Nova would try to get his attention, prove how devoted to the Order (cult) and their Lord she is and how much she knows about their rituals and even her ability to view into the future *especially* compared to Astor... and the most she'd get is a lukewarm, "that's nice, kid. Anyway." Or even the occasional compliment which would make her continue trying. And that's just when she was a kid, as an adult and moving up the ranks of the Order she probably got to work with him every now and again. But again, he always kept her at an arm's length. And never acknowledged her as his daughter.

Wasn't as short as you thought because there's ALWAYS more sad stuff to talk about with Nova <3

The most afraid she's ever been.... hmmm.. apart from when their father died? Could have been the start of the Calamity, I don't think there was a single being in hyrule that wasn't afraid of that moment. Or maybe finding out that Astor literally used half the cult as sacrifices to Ganon. Or maybe seeing him absolutely lose his shit during one of their *worst* arguments/fights... could be any of those...

How she acts around people she doesn't like depends on the person, some people she just keeps her distance and keeps their interactions short. If it's Astor she straight up antagonises him to try and get a reaction out of him to make him look and feel bad. She gets that from her father.

I didn't think makil could get any uglier but imagining him bald made me wanna cry <3

Tim. Timtimtimtimtimtim. Tim.

Realistic: he makes!!! Fireworks!!! Really nice and intricate ones with lots of colors and patterns!! It's something of a stress reliever for him, and he loves setting them off at random to startle the others. He also makes them for the others!! Tim's love language is 'here I made you a pretty firework that says your name when it goes off' or more accurately "here Jonny I made you a firework that says 'first mate D'Ville is a wanker' when it goes off" (translation: you're my family and I love you)

Unrealistic but funny: he can. Extend his eyes on stalks to see things better. This would actually be incredibly painful for him so it's very much not serious, but it's more of just a fun mental image.

Heartbreaking and awful: you already know my personal most heartbreaking Tim headcanon (the final song one) so I'm not going to talk about that but. Expanding on it. He was happy when he died that final time. He wanted it. He didn't cry. He didn't want the others to cry. He wasn't sad he wasn't angry he wasn't afraid. He. Was. Happy. Quite possibly happier than he'd ever been in his immortal life. He was ready. And he wouldn't have wanted to go out any other way.

Also y'all are gonna hate me for this but I think he got Bertie killed. Probably indirectly but I think it was partially his fault and he went on a rampage instead of dealing with it. But then of course, once he was mechanized...

I have a lot of sad thoughts about Tim.

Fuck Canon: he couldn't hold a gun for a while after he was mechanized, because ✨war trauma✨. And in that time he instead taught himself how to swordfight/knifefight. He used a sword for the first bit of his immortal life. This could actually be realistic I'm just putting it here bc I can't think of anything else.

📌: If all your fics/WIPs fell off a ship and were drowning (go with it), and you could only save one, which would it be?

It’s gonna have to be the run away with me fic, I think. I almost said tie fic, just because I’ve written over 15k for that one, so rewriting it would be particularly painful, but I’ve got lots of paper notes and handwritten drafts tucked away in my notebooks, so at least I’d have something to go on.

The run away with me fic, on the other hand, is almost entirely digital and well over 10k (I’m assuming I’d lose all my digital copies/notes of fics as well in this scenario) and I can’t imagine losing it all.
