Hux was very meticulous when it came to creating his crew. He made sure that they were not only the best in their respective fields but the most loyal and hard working team this side of the system.
Unfortunately, he neglected to take into account that he now basically had a freighter filled wanted First Order officers, a rather huge lapse in judgment for someone currently in hiding.
