Hey there, I just wanna gush about my bf for a bit- he’s so sweet and kind and gentle, and he’s always got a smile on his face! He cares so much about me and other people, and always makes sure everyone is doing ok. He’s also a race car driver, and won a race last week!! I’m super proud of him 💙💙💙 we haven’t seen each other since October and we’re in a LDR, but we hope to meet again this summer!

Hello there, I adore your blog, your writing is amazing! I hope you mind that this isn’t a request, but I wanted to ask something. As a novelist, how do you stay motivated to finish your work? I’m writing a book myself, and I’m rather afraid of losing steam midway through. Thank you! 💙💙

Hi there! No I don’t mind at all! I love it when people talk to me!

I honestly day dream! About my books, about possible future things, plot lines, characters, settings, backstories, everything in between! The more I figure stuff out, the more I want to share it with the world and see people’s reactions!

Another big thing is NaNoWriMo (national novel writers month), but that’s a double edged sword. On one hand, getting a novel done in a month sounds great. On another, life still gets in the way of that sometimes, and I couldn’t participate in this years Nanowrimo as much as I wanted.

But I’ll show you a program that really helps me! If you’ve heard of ZenWriter, I highly recommend it. From a writer’s perspective, it’s full screen and once you get in that writing grove, there’s nothing there to distract you (other than youtube randomly pausing and your friends really wanting to talk to you lol).

Plus it’s really fun. I have my keyboard sounds set to type writer for the entire aesthetic.

But really those two play a big part. From daydreaming alone, I have four books planned for the Beast Trials series, and I have to remind myself that there’s always an editing phase where the rough draft gets polished, and I don’t have to worry that much because it’s not perfect the first time around.

And beta readers are more powerful than people give them credit for. After the first edit through (I use Hemmingway Editor for that shit, it’s really helpful), beta readers have a similar power for a novel like a comment and kudos on ao3 does. It suddenly motivates you because it’s like, “what can I do better, oh they really liked this part! oh that makes me so happy that I’m going to break their heart later w this character,” ect ect.

Yes, when I coined this term I also coined Uranic, which is attraction to men, nongender people, and all nbs who are not female-aligned or feminine.

❤️ Despite being a snarky fellow, Joey is such a swetheart for you & his sister and he will make sure that nothing can harm you in every day and in battle. His fellow duelists couldn’t help but to agree with this observation.

❤️ During dates, he’ll try to impress you by pulling out corny cheesy pick-up lines, only for them to fall to deaf ears to other people. On the other hand, you don’t seem to mind them at all.

❤️ Yugi, Tristan, and Téa will jokingly make fun of him whenever he blushes upon seeing you. Don’t worry about the jokes and inside teasing, they absolutely support you guys 110%. 

💙 Seeing either you or Serenity gone too soon before his eyes hurts him the most, it will break his heart should that day comes.

💙 The time he and Tristan were acting as jerks to Yugi in school wasn’t among the best things he has done, and doesn’t want it to be brought back up again unless one gets to know him more.

💙 Nobody should mention to him the time Marik possessed him during the Battle City arc to hurt Yugi and their friendship on the line: he finds this nightmare experience horrifying and he hasn’t gotten over it yet.
