I Swear That Quasimodo's Fandom is Only Targeted on The Disney Adaptation but Both Erik/The Phantom and The Beast/Prince's Own Fandoms Tend to Have Multiverse-Versions of Their Stories besides Than The Main Modern Domain Versions Because It Really Makes Me wish That Victor Hugo's Hunchback was The Same, Yet I'm The Only Fan Who Cares About The Other Adaptations (Despite Me Not Being a Hunchback Fan all that Much :/).

I Wonder if There Any Other HBoND Fans that Do Care About The Other Quasimodos besides than The Disney Version? Because I Would Defiantly Kill Some Fanart Idea Where Disney! Quasi Interacts with Any of His Animated Mockbuster/Low-Budget Counterparts.

Working on my own version of the hunchback of notre dame

It will involve themes and characters from the original story, the animated disney film, and the musical. Plus, it will also have some of my own characters as well.

This is part one of characters that I have drawn so far. I also probably might’ve written some of the names wrong, but it’s okay. We all make mistakes

just got up to the hunchback of notre dame in my disney marathon and considering what’s been happening now

hunchback -to my knowledge- is the closest thing kids have to a “fuck the police” film*

-city guard/police shown as prejudiced and corrupt

-those who tout christian morals the hardest tend to be the ones who completely ignore them the most

-whenever a good cop tries to do the right thing they get killed/ostracized for it and end up losing their career because they spoke up look i know phoebus is still captain in part 2 but fuck you part 2 doesn’t exist in my eyes

-protests and riots are necessary when those in power abuse it

*that i can think of anyway, i am open to suggestions

me: in victor hugo’s novel notre-dame de paris it’s said that years of ringing the bells in the bell tower caused quasimodo to lose his hearing and frollo has to teach him to sign. even though disney didn’t include this in their 1996 film it is referenced in its staged version meaning they absolutely should include it in the live action remake, as it is canon. and they should hire a deaf actor because, and I cannot stress this enough, 👏 quasimodo 👏 is 👏 deaf 👏
