I also have way too many questions and way too many things have gone unexplained for it to be two episodes from the end. Too much of this season was written under the guise of “oh it’s just new tech” and I’m like that’s fine but are you going to explain any of it? No? Just force your viewers to accept it as it is?

We just get thrown a bunch of different ways the anomoly is used to travel. We have the stones, the code on Octavia’s back, the pills, the knife that you stab yourself and it’s a tagging device, the nano tech thing Cadogan took. And it’s just like whyyyy do we need all of this? Couldn’t they have just used the stones and that would suffice?

And then what’s with spending that whole episode on the tech of Bardo if it’s not going to be used for bigger things? I know we have two episodes left and it still could it just feels like it’s not. Besides M-Cap. MCAP is really the only one we’ve really leaned into. But there the fear simulation, the weird baby growing facility, the whole Gem-9 thing.

I don’t really know what the main point of this is it’s just that I feel like this season has gotten lost with clutter and all the different new ways and tech is a big part of it that was just not needed.

I think if we just had like MCAP and the stones it’s would’ve been a much better and uncluttered season that could’ve focused on the characters.
