The pic I started on stream today, decided to finish it up off-stream because I felt rested enough but also didn’t want to fight with Picarto being broken.

A pair of strange fellows based on an even stranger dream I had back in 2014. The part that involved them was basically some kind of hybrid Terraria/Dark Souls game, which (in the fashion of dreams making no sense but somehow working) was able to switch between a Terraria style game and a more Dark Soulsy one at will (as well as a couple other games here and there), though usually only switched to Dark Souls style for bosses.

These two were bosses of a castle on a sky island. I was able to glean very little aside rough appearances, save that they could drop their weapons, the big guy could drop a Face Monster vanity mask, and their nameplates read “Archmage” and “Nagak.” However, due to proximity, I’m not even sure if that was both their names, or if the skelly’s name was “Archmage Nagak” and face monster paladin was just nameless. Their nameplates vanished during the fight, but I tend to refer to them separately.

Likely was subconscious fallout from designing a Hell-Armored Face Monster I edited and animated for an old forum Weekly Sprite Challenge about fusing monsters together.
