My Class Pass Experience
So I just bought my class pass this week, and I’m going to try and document what classes I take and my progress through them. I am already in LOVE with class pass as a fitness option. I’m getting to go to all sorts of unique and fun studios in Austin that I would have never even known about.
Day 1: Practice Yoga on the East Side
I LOVE this little studio. I had never been to an organized yoga class (outside of those free ones everyone tries in college) and I’m all about if after Friday. Next time I go I’ll have to get a picture of the actual studio because it is just so typical East Side hipster - shabby chic with a modern twist. The instructor had a soothing voice and was descriptive enough for a relative beginner like me. I will absolutely be back as much as I can (which with Class Pass is three times a month).
Day 2: The Bar Method Downtown
Getting to explore Austin a bit more is a great perk of Class Pass for me, and this morning I was able to hit up the downtown location of The Bar Method, which is near a bunch of cool bars I’ve always heard about but have never been able to find! The class was... difficult? I guess? It’s hard to describe because while I didn’t sweat very much, my muscles were still shaking and I found it difficult to do all of the reps. We’ll have to see how I feel in the morning.
Two days down, five to go before my first week of Class Pass is through!
