watching youtubers reacting to the devil's road convinced Armand's apologies are part of an evil plan, watching Armand get publically humiliated at the concert and not respond in violence being convinced it's part of an evil plan, watching Daniel go after him and grab him convinced there's about to be a fight, watching Armand let Daniel approach him and let his shoulders down with a sigh and lean in with his eyes on his face in relief and let Daniel shake him like a rag doll while staring at his lips and going in for a kiss twice then unable to look Daniel in the face after Daniel says the word fucked and watch Armand not be able to look at Daniel when he says the word love and them say "ohhh it was Armand's love for LESTAT" is the funniest fucking thing
Armand is sexualizing that old man because that old man is fuckable! Armand is swooning! He is yearning! Does the intimate camera close-up framing them like they're about to kiss, that open body language, that myriad of thirsty micro-expressions and Armand's O-face each time Daniel slams him into the wall mean nothing to ya'll--?
tvl ep4 spoliers
I don't like where the relationship between Louis and Regina ("Claudia") is leading. I don't think it's healthy for anyone. Someone needs to pull Louis out of this hole he's dug himself... Louis might label it as coping but it's not. He's setting himself up for more heartbreak. I don't blame him, but he needs to snap out of it.
I didn't like the ending of the episode even more. Didn't like as in the same way I didn't like episode 3. Because it hurt and was awful, but so beautifully presented. The score matching the scenes from s1 and s2.... the lines said by Louis at the alter to Lestat... ouch. Gabriella continues to make me feel ill. I want to wrap Lestat up in my arms and tell him that he can be loved without compromise or sacrifice. His "Why won't you let me hate you?" to Gabi, ack.
They perfectly encapsulate the mother-son bond in such a way that you find yourself relating to them as someone with mother. Then, in the same breath they also capture the lover-maker dynamic so well it throws you off and makes you uncomfortable and ill all over again. I don't know if that makes sense. They make me feel like I am caught in the middle of their tumultuous lives. Props to Sam and Jennifer's acting, they're impeccable at portraying these complexities.
I do have words on Armand and Daniel (and Alex too) but you have to let me marinate in my thoughts about them first.
oh Daniel poured his heart out here in a painful way, but at least we got our devil's minion crumbs😋 ♡♡
yayyyyy
[edit other letters that i transcribed: dear daniel ☆ dear lestat ]
i genuinely don't know what GW means(english isn't my first language and there's so many references in these episodes lol)
i'm thinking about create a version of the other letters with the interruptions. it would be so funny :)
In light of 3x04 the gabistat reveal at the end of 3x01 is so much fucking worse because it's so obvious that Lestat is begging to hear "I love you". I'm gonna puke
Hello Armand nation from the many comments I saw online.
The fact that you understand Armands character (which is good for you that you pay attention to the show) is really good but It doesn't excuse his actions.
All the things he's done, like the trial amongst other things, you are able to understand and explain them, which is called good writing, but understanding characters actions isn't an automatic excuse.
Other characters not understanding his actions/other characters being mad at his actions is absolutely understanable.
I think a lot of people perceive vampires here through a lense of human morality hence why they either hate him that much that they dismiss anything he's saying or doing, that means you're not paying attention to the show by dismissing other characters impact on armnads character and how he perceives them.
Or love him and understand him to the point of dismissing what he's done to other characters and how they perceive him.
everyone spiraling soooooo out of control rn it’s so delicious
