the angel on my shoulder: "it's your day off, you should do something productive around the house"
the devil on my other shoulder, hocking spitballs at my cock: "get tastefully hammered and forget about anything that isn't tickling"
I have literally nobody to talk about this to so here we go. It’s kinda niche.
Sometimes characters give me the same vibe and then I imagine they are like the same person but in an another dimension or universe because they just give me the absolute same vibe.
For example this is one character in different dimensions to me:
- Keris Valiant (Bridge Kingdom by Danielle L. Jensen)
- Charlie Milford (Lovelight Farms by BK Borison)
- Adrian Ivashkov (Vampire Academy/Bloodlines by Richelle Mead)
The parallels between The Traitor Queen and The Endless War literally start from the first page - Zarrah (Aren), imprisoned, because the love of her (his) life betrayed her (him) and Keris (Lara) going back to people he (she) also betrayed to beg for their help.
maybe now that @amazingphil drank some iced tea @philscurls will believe it's real 😩😩
Not for the first time, she was struck by the nearly ethereal quality of his face, it seeming as though every angle had been sculpted by a higher power with the purpose of showing the world true beauty. That the mind behind the face was equally as rare in quality made her half wonder if perhaps darker powers were behind his creation, for no man should be possessed of such advantage. - The Endless War (The Bridge Kingdom, #4) by Danielle L. Jensen
I know the way I feel about you consumes me. That it gives me breath even as it steals the air from my lungs. Makes my heart beat even as it cuts it from my chest. What word I give it matters little. What matters is that even after my bones are dust and my name lost to history and history lost to time, I will feel this way for you. - The Endless War (The Bridge Kingdom, #4) by Danielle L. Jensen
“There are moments in life where one stands at a crossroads, and each path leads to a future so wildly different from the other that it seems impossible they stemmed from the same place. Most of the time, the ripples of those choices touch only a few. But sometimes a choice is made, and the ripples are not ripples at all but rather tsunamis that tear across the world, altering everything in their path.”- The Endless War (The Bridge Kingdom, #4) by Danielle L. Jensen
