like do i think the flick is a great play? not at all. does the placement of the audience as the movie theater screen looking IN on the theater as a place of action instead of vice versa make me insane? yeah. Does the scene where two characters sit down to watch a film but because the audience IS the screen we only see a projector shine blindingly bright lights in our faces as the opening soundtrack blares while the characters are staring directly at us, beautifully disrupting the voyeuristic comfort an audience has as outside observers haunt me every single time i go to the movies? absolutely.
