Kenny is annoyed by Butters. He finds him fake, he finds him overly clingy in a non-appealing way, and he remembers the Chaos shit way too well and never trusts him. Butters thinks they're buddies but Kyle is constantly telling Kenny to act civil and not cause a whole thing snapping at him. It's not the animosity that Kyle and Cartman share, but Kenny just gets bad vibes and will not relent and wants nothing to do with him.

The most I grant him is toleration and even that is Kenny dancing on a very fine line.
