Carry On Countdown Day 2: Chosen
Today’s drawing features the theme in a few ways— of course, Simon is the Chosen One, but here he’s making his own choice, his own path, and prophecies be damned.
(Yeah, I know it’s not quite the canon pose, but I was possessed to make this in the middle of the night and I didn’t start with research.)
Another round of thanks to @larkral and @monbons for the advice and support!

Summary:
You were young. Just a boy. A copy of a boy, but a boy nevertheless. You grew up on scraps of food and the backs of fists. You learned to fight before you learned how to speak. You always knew you'd be abandoned, unwanted. And at eleven years old, you woke up.
Woke up alone and hungry.

Could The Humdrum from The Simon Snow Series kill Macbeth? He’s a manifestation of Simon Snow, the main character, created by his god-like magic (long story); but technically since Simon is a man and is of woman born, would that also make The Humdrum a man of woman born? And since The Humdrum is a manifestation of specifically 11-year-old Simon, does he count as a man? Or a boy? I never knew I needed an answer to this, but, surprisingly, this matters a lot to me.
I would say that the Humdrum would be able to kill Macbeth. If he was created by Simon, then Simon would count as his "birth parent" for the Birth Parent Clause, and thus would also apply for the Unconventional Birth Clause at the same time.
I would say no on the Gender Clause, though, since (as we've discussed before) we don't tend to make a distinction between "man" and "boy" based on age unless one is explicitly made in the text (i.e. a boy specifically says that he is not a man yet).
Now, to be fair, I pretty much couldn't find any information about this character when trying to research for this ask, so I'm mainly going off of what you've already told me, and while I don't doubt what you're saying is true, I do still like to verify these things on my own, since humans tend to misremember information all the time.
Thank you for your submission!

Simon Snow is my comfort character and this is one of my new favorite drawings ... So here's to Snow and his younger self <3
Envy
I keep thinking that people Humdrum kidnapped or tried to hurt directly - were Baz and Agatha (multiple times, cause, she was with Simon longer!). Closest to Simon, the one he loved. [to fetch Simon he could really kidnap anyone, Simon would come running after anyone, that’s his hero nature].
Have you ever wonder how he know about Simon feelings? He doesn’t read minds. He must be watching then? Have you noticed that Humdrum also love to humour Simon with his kidnaps?
Like... he put Wellbelove in a bottom of the well...
Or this! Simon touch (kiss) Baz in the forest to prove him that Baz is not a monster, to save him (and maybe save forest too), while Humdrum - reverse the situation - he touches Baz to make monster out of him AGAIN IN FOREST, to prove to Simon that Baz is Monster and he laughs at exactly that. Also - he completely destroys the place, even if only in magical sense. What a villain! What a metaphor for trauma and depression.
