Five: escape the apocalypse, she told me. save your siblings, she said. live a long and happy life with them. well guess what. they make every DAY armageddon for me. there is no escaping ragnarok when they wake every morning determined to hear fenrir's howls. Klaus: i cant decide which to be more concerned about, the fact that the "she" in question is a mannequin or the fact that all that set this off was diego saying he accidentally shut down Griddy's by mentioning the health hazards to eudora

Squid Ink Cookie (Cookie Run) VS The Kracken (Mythology)
Squid Ink Cookie
The Kracken
[OFMD Poetry] 10/13/23
I met fate while you were gone
And I fought her
With my sword
And with my gun
And when she surrendered
Lying on the ground
I took my rusted blade
And my flintlock
And carved a hole
For you to fit perfectly in
And I waited for you by the docks
So when you never came
I got rid of everything
And it was only the scar tissue
That screamed your name
The toes rly sealed it for me when making this
But remember that Stede’s idea of Blackbeard was captured multiple times in his library books, and his interest in the story, the legend of Blackbeard is . . . immensely important to him (“if I could be Blackbeard just once, I’d give this all away”), and in fact that fantastic, mythic image was big enough in his mind that he didn’t even recognize the flesh-and-blood Blackbeard sitting right in front of him. And it was big enough that the thought that he “ruined” this legendary figure made him abandon his entire dream of being a pirate.
So, no, when Stede sees Ed again . . . I don’t think his reaction will be dismay.
I do think he’s going to be disappointed at how Ed treated Lucius and the crew. Probably, truly pissed. (And that, perhaps, is not unlike what happened to the real Bonnet.)
But I think if anything Stede will be dismayed that Ed might not be that flesh-and-blood Blackbeard around him anymore; that version of himself is locked up tight and bundled with his own anger at being left behind and rejected.
