Ruby making the only request that it's ever made (in my knowledge) and that's only to go home and at that point none of them know or suspect that Ruby isn't the sports car it pretends to be and so her request sounds innocuous until you remember that maybe Ruby's not talking about the Carte Blanche and that it's not her home and that maybe her home no longer exists or it's a home she can't ever find or go back to again or home doesn't feel like home anymore because the things and people she knew no longer exist and I think given the whole displacement theme the penumbra has it makes me very very sad I hope Ruby can go home someday

On my first listen I thought the Ruby 7 was just the liscence plate name and that there was nothing special about the colour of the car so straight tpp’s ruby 7 is just the generic black tech’d out car you see in boring spy movies but with the added bonus of everyone talking about it in weirdly objectifying language because Ruby is usually seen as a girl’s name
