Sébastien got a massive rework from his original design in 2019! He was originally drawn up as simply a love interest for Kiran, but obviously he deserves to be more than that if he’s going to be a part of this story (that I’m still not committed to writing 😭)

The idea of making him a Lycan/Lycanthrope comes kind of from blending him with another love interest I drew up for Kiran that was also part creature. I’m unsure if that character will make a come back yet, but I’m running on the idea of them not, thus Sébastien is here to fulfill the storybeat about creatures/part creatures (an overall theme of finding your niche and beating/erasing stigmas is developing as I keep drawing and writing little notes).

That and I thought the idea of drawing facial hair would be fun (it is, but also it isn’t because I hatch in each individual hair 😭😭😭)

I'm watching a vaguely sketchy upload of The Specialists (1969) on youtube, apparently one of the few good spaghetti westerns I haven't seen yet, and while the video does have English subtitles, they cut in and out periodically in the weirdest way.

It's worth it, though, for a scene in the sheriff's office, where everyone is upset that a hot guy with a gun is coming to town and think somebody oughtta do something about it- and then the subtitles vanish. People yell, a villainous-looking woman comes in and sneers, the sheriff snarls at everyone, people grapple each other, and there is no translation for any of it. And then the sheriff makes an angry speech and stalks out-

And the English subtitles come back for his line "And don't you forget it!"
