(Also, we need to RP more often. Different timelines be damned. Merida and Gentaro would be an awesome friendship)
They're referencing the song So long and thanks for all the fish, from hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, just altering the rhymes. It's super catchy.

OOC: Ok ok ok I am back!
((I am so sorry for not being active here and I know this is not the first time I apologized for this....Getting ready for college (and I am not even moving out of home for this one) has been taking up a lot of my time lately. So I am not promising that I am fully back on board because I am going to be in and out before I finally start attending college but, today I am making an effort to at least answer one roleplay. I need to prove you dears that I haven't forgotten about you all and my followers. Then again I am really sorry for the inconvenience.))
We need the tunics so folk can know we're part o' the same group o' course! We could wear em' at meetings an' public gatherings. It'll be so fun!
“Ohh so like matching, identical clothing…I think those are called uniforms? This sounds so interesting!”
We should start a royal society for Ladies of Peculiar Hair. What do ya say? We could 'ave embossed tunics!
“Wow! Royal? me? I’m not anything royal but, I would love to be apart of this! To be with other girls like me would be amazing!”
“But do you mind if I ask….What do we need embossed tunics for?”
((Merida can't see Jack at the moment, because while she believes in magic and other beings, she doesn't know anyone is there, while suspicious, and she doesn't know to believe in any specific spirit of winter and frost, she's probably read a folktale about Jack Frost though.))
Merida suddenly felt a chill in the air that wasn't there before and visibly shivered. "You ever get the feelin' you're being watched, Angus?" Merida joked with her horse to calm herself from the chill. Angus responded responded with a muffled neigh as if he couldn't care less.
"It's not too late, Ah don' think, but what Ah wouldn't give for the wisps to at least ligh' a path. If not to the castle, at least that old witch's cabin." Not that she was interested in going there again, she didn't fancy any more of her magic, the old hag had an obvious, and sometimes unpleasant, obsession with bears, but she could at least divine a path from that landmark.
Merida dismounted Angus and held his reigns in her hand as she began to get a better look at their surroundings. Pulling her cloak more securely around her to fight off that strange chill. She was more alert on her feet and you never knew there were those stories of the fae whisking lost travelers into Faerie or spirits causing mischief, Merida was ready to believe in more than just magic after she bargained that spell off the witch.
"Wizard, eh?" She wondered aloud. "I live 'round these parts. My father is the king here after all." Merida said a little ruffled by his question when they weren't a mile from the castle. She noticed his accent was quite different that what she was used to hearing. "You're not from around here, are ya?" She asked. "Princess Merida of Clan DunBroch," she introduced her self to the odd man, "And how may I call you?"
He would normally call himself a Time Lord, but he wasn't sure if that was fully accurate, what with the Cyberiad technology he was now made of.
"Oh, no. I'm not from anywhere near here at all." the Master smiled.
Merida. That's rather a nice name. "I am usually called the Master."
Oh, she'd said she was a princess. How did the treatment of foreigners go in Scotland? He'd risk it. Wasn't like there was much on Earth that could do him harm, especially this early in its development.
"Could you perhaps take me into the city proper? I don't much know my way around these parts. It would be absolutely dreadful to get lost in a country where I don't know any of the people."
