Unpopular opinion: Diomedes beating Ares and Aphrodite was NOT THAT HEAVY!

First of all, I wanna say that... I like him. He's cool, ig. It's just that I find some "fans" of him who only talk about him "beating two gods" and completly ignore his other achievements (like being in the Theban Cycle, or being turned into an immortal, or stealing the Palladium, or founding the Magna Graeca) a bit annoying. Like, he's done other things. It's not his only achievement, nor is it the best one. Like, fuck, he might be Athena's favorite. Yes, even before Odysseus.

He's what I would call overrated, but underrated. People mostly focus on the wrong parts.

Like, first of all, lets mention that at first, when he saw Ares, he ran away, knowing he had no chance. He only attacked when Athena gave him permission and helped him defeat him. It was Athena who guides his spear. That's how Ares is beaten.

With Aphrodite. Athena told Diomedes to attack her if she saw any god. As far as I know, the Aphrodite of this book is not Aphrodite Areia or Aphrodite Urania. It's Aphrodite Pandemos. Zeus himself says she has nothing to do with war and to leave that job to Ares and Athena.

Yeah, that's it. That he has other achievements, and this one is my most un-favorite.
