Matthew Chapter 1
Matthew chapter 1 explains the lineage and virgin birth of Jesus, establishing him as the Messiah (Christ) through his royal ancestry from Abraham and David. The chapter details Jesus' genealogy from Abraham to Joseph, his legal father on earth, followed by the account of Mary's virgin conception by the Holy Spirit and Joseph's obedient decision to marry her and name the child Jesus.
Genealogy of Jesus (Matthew 1:1-17)
Purpose: This section serves to legitimize Jesus's claim to be the promised Messiah, the descendant of Abraham and King David.
Structure: The genealogy is presented in three sets of fourteen generations, symbolically organized to emphasize Jesus's lineage.
Ancestors: Key figures from the Old Testament, including Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Judah, and King David are listed.
Mothers: The inclusion of prominent women like Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, and Bathsheba highlights God's grace and the inclusion of non-Jewish people in His plan to bless all nations.
Birth of Jesus
The Virgin Birth: The chapter describes Mary's miraculous conception of Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Joseph's Role: Joseph, Mary's husband, is presented as a righteous man who plans to divorce her quietly but changes his mind after an angel appears to him in a dream.
Divine Instructions: The angel instructs Joseph not to be afraid to take Mary as his wife, assuring him that the child is conceived by the Holy Spirit.
Jesus's Name: Joseph is told to name the Son Jesus because he will save his people from their sins.
Fulfillment of Prophecy: This event fulfills a prophecy that a virgin would conceive and give birth to a son named Emmanuel, meaning "God with us."
Obedience: Joseph obeys the angel's command, takes Mary as his wife, and names the child Jesus.
God bless all of you, and remember that Jesus loves you and is worth all the world✝️

Matthew 6:33-34
Sometimes we get caught up in the world in life that we become worrisome and we also forget that there is no need for worry when we have God .🩷
No matter what language you use, teach your children the Lord's Prayer.

18 While he was speaking to them, suddenly one of the officials came up, who bowed low in front of him and said, 'My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her and her life will be saved.' 19 Jesus rose and, with his disciples, followed him. 20 Then suddenly from behind him came a woman, who had been suffering from a hemorrhage for twelve years, and she touched the fringe of his cloak, 21 for she was thinking, 'If only I can touch his cloak I shall be saved.' 22 Jesus turned round and saw her; and he said to her, 'Courage, my daughter, your faith has saved you.' And from that moment the woman was saved. 23 When Jesus reached the official's house and saw the flute-players, with the crowd making a commotion, he said, 24 'Get out of here; the little girl is not dead; she is asleep.' And they ridiculed him. 25 But when the people had been turned out he went inside and took her by the hand; and she stood up. 26 And the news of this spread all round the countryside.
