ack thank you so much!!!! ! i really love that scene too, especially given that it was rather difficult to write, though not for like, the normal reasons lol. some of the reasons include

writing Gideon crying made ME cry so I had to stop in the middle and come back to it the next day

in my head, Pyrrha's house is basically just my house (with a few differences) and i was sitting in "Gideon's spot" on the couch while writing it BUT! i was writing from Harrow's POV. so i kept getting mixed up as to where everyone was physically AT due to my conflicting physical and imaginary spatial orientation lol

i hadn't written any romantic scenes before, so i was fighting my self-consciousness soooo badly the entire time. i just felt so like. idk, bashful? my face was bright red the whole time i was working on it. shout out to @theriverbeyond for putting up with me being so awkward and embarrassed when i sent it over for beta reading and very kindly reassuring me that it was fine 🙈 obviously i got over it eventually but i did very much feel like i was gonna be sick the first time i knew someone was reading it lol
