Lah'mu had been peaceful the last standard year. Despite requesting she not aid things along just to make sure that he kept his mind busy enough to not start focusing on previous work, Galen had a feeling that Aislin had been aiding the plants in growing stronger and larger than the year before. Or perhaps he was just getting better which was almost as worrisome.
Though Jyn also kept him plenty busy with her reimmeged Jedi obsession. He didn't have the crystals to even attempt with help any sort of practice saber, but he had found some rather good tubing and ways to make it all light up enough to make his stardust her own version along with one for whoever else was playing with her. Transparent rocks from along the shore had provided the coloring for the toys and right now Galen was getting beaten rather soundly by his daughter, laughing as he fell to the ground and she just went to pin him down before kissing him on the cheek after she'd accidentally whacked him.
"That's alright. I get you next time," he teased, letting her get off before standing back up and about to just grab her when he heard the alarms going off inside, growing suddenly grave as his eyes went to the sky. "Go to your mother." Three ships. Why would anyone need three ships when there were only his little family? Yes, the larger "threat" was there but how would they have even started to come looking?
Truly it was about a 50/50 chance either way for who the ships were there for, assuming it was them at all. Still he headed right for the fake shed, only knocking as a warning before walking right in. This was dire after all.
