This is a small homage I made a few years back, in tribute to the Great Master Jack Kirby. And I share it again, because if Jack Kirby, aka "Jack the King Kirby", aka "Jack Kirby: The King of Comics" was alive today, he would be turning 100 YEARS OLD!!! In all honesty, I gotta tell you one thing: when I was young I didn't like his style, but I couldn't deny the attraction his art and stories had on me.. As time went by and the more I studied, I kept reading so many good things about him, I had to understand what was there that I coudn't see.. so I had to look deeper, study harder! As I grew older I could finaly understand that art is much deeper than style, and how good he really was! Now, every time I look at his work, he keeps teaching me a lot! So I guess he is still very much alive, inspiring and teaching people around the world, every day! Telling us to look ferther! Marveling us with his art.. Happy 100th birthday, Master!!!
