A term & gender flag for people who’s gender is; - heavily connected to cryptids, cryptidcore, empty forests, fog, and tall grass - as well as mysteries and not knowing what could be behind you when you’re lost in a forest. - Can also be associated with a sense of cryptids giving you relief. - Any pronouns are okay, any genders can be mixed with it.

Watchers, hunting players for sport, not caring who else or what else dies in the process of a game. Known to aid creepers just to piss humans off. Young watchers are told that creepers are the most wonderful creatures, can scare even the most powerful players. Both species considered cryptids to the other. So it's only natural that grian and doc find each other so very fascinating.

The couple still think the other is absolutely astounding, but for different reasons now. Doc marvels at Grian’s social skills, how he can joke around so easily but knows and apologizes the moment he crosses a line. Grian loves Doc’s passion. He could listen to him talk about his interests for hours. Both of them, though, remember when they were in awe of the other for the harm they could cause, and think with half shame and half good humor how silly they were.

Mumbo grew up in a permadeath world, he remembers around when he was a teen, he first heard a monster story that he'd heard a billion times since, a human defying the laws of a permadeath world, ignoring death not once, not twice, but too many times to count. Every time the story is told it's a different number. A being that has taken countless lived and danced with dark gods and demons alike, once whom has battled demons and ghosts and the like. Mumbo... Did not expect grian to be so damn cute.

Sometimes, Mumbo doesn’t quite believe the tales about Grian. Then, he sees the look in his eyes when he starts a prank war and yup, that’s the immortal they were talking about. (He’s so enamored with him.)

Mumbo heart will flutter everytime he see Grian...

Imagine if the base, even with its limited capabilities, tries to set its two caretakers up. Lord knows how- maybe mind control? But it sure tries :)

everyone thinks that grian's wings are cause hes a bird man, but no, hes actually mothman. really only mumbo and iskall know that though.

How did they find out? My money is on them coming back to one of their bases to find Grian fluttering against a light source.

People used to asked why Cleo decided to date a human, or why Joe dated a zombie while being human himself. They always laughed, rolled their eyes and saved that conversation to tell the other and laugh about it. Grian, being as nosey as he is, and new as he was, asks this after many a year of the two not being bothered. They of course laugh, and the red sweatered gremlin is just confused. So when Gri is trudging around in the dark trying to find a bed, he sees a figure, somethings wrong with it though. Too lanky, too thin, too tall, too many eyes, too much of everything walking around in the pitch black of night. Grian was scared shitless til Grian threw a lantern at it and discovered it was Joe giving him a bed. The figures did not tranlate to Joes average human looks though, and Grian hoped it never would. He understands why Cleo and Joe laugh now; not at their relationship, but at Joe being human at all.

From then on, Grian wonders how the hell nobody else realized Joe wasn’t human. I mean, his shadow is clearly not the same shape as his body. He’s starting to think Cleo may be the more normal one in their relationship...

Vex hybrids(Cub and Scar) are probably one of the rarer cryptids out there, probably a lot rarer than bigfoot and mermaids. They're also more likely to be little bastards running around pranking anyone they see fit. What's surprising is Doc, Jevin, False, Mumbo, Grian, Joe, Bdubs, and Zed all experienced that mischief and decided they were into it.

Cub and Scar get a ton of media attention after one of their many partners shares a photo of them napping in a pile. With their wings out. Oh well, at least they don’t have to hide anymore.
