Friendly Kidnapping // Katya & Thalia

As a general rule, Katya avoided Meracus. But it was some centuries ago after various run-ins at fashion shows that she realized there would never be anyone on this earth that understood fashion quite like Lucas. They couldn't get through a conversation without sniping at each other, and at times she felt like she honestly hated him but things like that tended to go away when you were discussing Eliee Saab's Fall/Winter collection for 2015.

During that same conversation, one of Katya's jibes hit a little too sharply and Lucas let a certain cat out of the bag (or rather a wolf! haha). When she heard the news that Lucas and Thalia were engaged, Katya screamed into his ear (purposefully, take that sensitive hearing), got all the details she could out of him including where Thalia was. He accidentally purposefully let it slip, Katya was sure.

That's how Katya found herself in Greece. Thalia had no cellphone, a near blasphemy, so Katya had every excuse to show up unannounced!

It was impossible for an immortal to sneak up on another because of their senses. For Katya, whenever an immortal was near, her body temperature spiked, and given that they couldn't get sick, there was never any risk of her confusing it with a fever. Katya didn't know Thalia's sense, but she was sure her friend would only half need it. After all, Katya never dressed modestly and she was certainly not going to dress modestly for what she had planned today.

As she spotted Thalia through the crowd -and got a hold on her sense so that she wouldn't be running a fever the whole time-, Katya grinned widely and put both pinkies in her mouth and whistled.
