Tawheed is to Single out Allah with all worship
The meaning of Tawheed is to single out Allah for all froms of worship, outwardly and inwardly, in speech and action. It is also to negate the worship of everything except Allah. Tawheed is the purpose of a Muslim’s life. Tawhid is the religion’s central and single most important concept, upon which a Muslim’s entire religious adherence rests. It unequivocally holds that God as per Islam (Arabic: الله Allāh) is One (Al-ʾAḥad) and Single (Al-Wāḥid). Tawhid constitutes the foremost article of the Muslim profession of submission.
Allah is the One, He is similar to none
Allah is Exalted above all Creations.
Allah is the One and Only 'True Deity'
He has the Perfect power and divinity.

আল্লাহ তায়ালার একত্বের প্রমান
তোমাদের উপাস্য একমাত্র উপাস্য (আল্লাহ)
"আর তোমাদের উপাস্য একমাত্র উপাস্য। তিনি ছাড়া মহা করুণাময় দয়ালু কেউ নেই।"
আল-কোরআন, সূরা বাকারাহ, আয়াত ১৬৩
আর তোমাদের উপাস্য একমাত্র উপাস্য (আল্লাহ)। তিনি ব্যতীত আর কোন (সত্যিকার) উপাস্য নেই, [১] তিনি চরম করুণাময়, পরম দয়ালু।
[১] এই আয়াতে আবারও তাওহীদের দাওয়াত দেওয়া হয়েছে। তাওহীদের এই দাওয়াত মক্কার মুশরিকদের জন্য বোধগম্য ছিল না। তারা বলল, {أَجَعَلَ الْآلِهَةَ إِلَهًا وَاحِدًا إِنَّ هَذَا لَشَيْءٌ عُجَابٌ} "সে কি এতগুলো উপাস্যের পরিবর্তে একটি মাত্র উপাস্য সাব্যস্ত করেছে। নিশ্চয় এটা এক বিস্ময়কর ব্যাপার।" (সূরা স্বা-দঃ ৩৮;৫ আয়াত) এই জন্যই পরের আয়াতে এই তাওহীদের প্রমাণাদি পেশ করা হচ্ছে।
১৬৩ নং আয়াতের তাফসীর:
অত্র আয়াতে আল্লাহ তা‘আলা নিজের উলুহিয়াত সম্পর্কে খবর দিচ্ছেন। তিনি তাঁর স্বত্ত্বা, নাম, গুণাবলী ও কার্যপ্রণালীসহ সকল দিক দিয়ে একক মা‘বূদ। তাঁর কোন অংশীদার নেই, সাদৃশ্য নেই, উপমা নেই, সমতুল্য ও সমকক্ষ কেউ নেই।
আয়াত থেকে শিক্ষণীয় বিষয়:
১. আল্লাহ তা‘আলা একমাত্র মা‘বূদ। তিনি ছাড়া অন্য কেউ ইবাদত পাওয়ার হকদার নয়।
২. আল্লাহ তা‘আলার ‘রহমান ও রহীম’দু’টি নাম এবং এর দ্বারা তাঁর দয়া গুণ সাব্যস্ত হয়। রহমান ও রহীম এ দু’টি নাম সম্পর্কে সূরা ফাতিহায় আলোচনা করা হয়েছে।

আমাদের প্রতিপালক আল্লাহ সুবহানাহু ওয়া তায়ালা। আল্লাহ একমাত্র সত্য মাবুদ। আল্লাহ ছাড়া কোনো 'সত্য ঈশ্বর'/ 'সত্য উপাস্য' নেই। মহান সৃষ্টিকর্তা আল্লাহ্ তাঁর কর্মে-পরিচালনায়, প্রভুত্বে-কর্তৃত্বে, উপাস্যের যোগ্যতা-অধিকারে এক, অদ্বিতীয় ও অংশীদারমুক্ত। আল্লাহ্ তায়ালা আসমানে আরশের ঊরধে (সকল সৃষ্টি্র উরধে) সমুন্নত আছেন। আল্লাহকে জানতে হবে তাঁর সুন্দরতম নাম 'আসমাউল হুসনা' ও পরিপূর্ণ গুণাবলী (আসমা ওয়াস সিফাত) দ্বারা। পবিত্র কোরআন আল্লাহর বাণী। কোরআন মানবজাতির জন্য চূড়ান্ত প্রত্যাদেশ ও নির্দেশনা।
