Can we all agree beforehand that in episode 8's opening the red dot was Cain and the blue dot was the second AI (Abel).
It's kinda obvious what the opening was trying to show us. The second shot right after this scene we saw the first programmers and Kinger being transported to the Circus.
But now a new question arises. Is Abel/the second AI really gone? In my opinion he isn't and someone in the Circus is Abel or what is left of him. For this theory my best candidate for who could be the remnant or even the fully real second AI/Abel is none other than Bubble.
But before we could get to the itty gritty of this theory let me clarify that we don't really know if the second blue AI was called ABEL, to me it sounds logical as why wouldn't a company called C&A call its AIs Caine and Abel but hey Kinger hints that those weren't the original names. For the sake of consistency I'll refer to the blue AI as ABEL but don't forget that the name isn't confirmed.
The first thing we could say is Bubble was acting a bit faulty in episode 5 and even had some hiccups before. Now in episode 8 Bubble's tone changed a lot. The first scene we saw of Bubble in the same room with Cain he beraided him with "out of character" mocking. This all leading to Cain to crash out for the whole episode, I repeat BUBBLE CAUSED ALL THE CONFLICT IN EPISODE 8. But why would he do that? You could chalk this up to Bubble being really glitchy this episode until he says these two last lines.
"You really were the lesser of the two" well that's a weird line to have Bubble say. "Maybe you deserved to be abandoned" WHAT? There's no other explanation for Bubble knowing all this information about Cain?
He must at least know something about Abel to make spiteful claims like these (Guessing from Cain's reaction all of this's true). And why would Bubble do all this for no reason? Simple, HE IS ABEL or what is left of him and he's trying to get revenge. And what happens at the end of the episode? Cain gets deleted, just like how Bubble wanted.
Bubble is also the closest "Blue" thing in the Circus to be a foil to Cain's "Red" and guessing from the opening Abel was probably blue too.
To add to this theory Bubble caused Cain's deletion interfering with the code last minute shown here in the log, most people figured that out pretty quick when the episode came out, but why would Bubble do this? Well why wouldn't he if Bubble was Abel and wanted to get back in control. The right Cain took away from him from the start of his existence? Bubble being Abel makes all the actions he did in this episode justifiable and fits right in like a glove. But you could say any evidence contradicting this.
That's my theory but I have heard other theories about Bubble, like theories that he's a virus which might be true but it would feel too bland if it does come out as true. A simple virus wouldn't be able to plan all this, Bubble is intelligent and knows what he's doing.
That's my theory, hope whoever read all that would have a lovely day [:
Huge Fnaf Rant... Theories abt game Michael vs. movie Michael (mostly)
I saw somebody use the bite of '83 as evidence that game Michael, in their words, was "evil all along". So here's this giant rant.
I think Michael in the movie is so evil because he doesn't have to deal with the guilt of the bite of '83, (since it was replaced by the kidnapping of Garrett in the first movie; Not to mention, Fredbear's Family Diner doesn't even exist in the movie because the first ever location in that universe was said to be the Fnaf 2 location). Without that guilt, there's no extreme turning point in his life to give him any character development, therefore leading him to grow up to be willingly subservient to William. On the other hand, Michael in the games does have to deal with that guilt, and from what you can tell about him from the little we have, he might be following his father's orders almost out of obligation, or maybe guilt for killing his brother; and it's obvious that he doesn't really want anything to do with Freddy's, (if you read into the tone of his speech, it's very obvious that he has this lethargic tone with a hint of sarcasm, and is overall very tired of his father, especially after figuring out the last bits and pieces of what he was doing back in the 80s, [Circus Baby/Elizabeth implies his ignorance throughout the entirety of sister location]. You can also reference the logbook, since it has notes and doodles that lead you in the direction that implies he's not a fan of the franchise, himself, or his past actions; and it takes place during the events of sister location. It also displays his coping mechanisms and further develops him as a character in general). After sister location is a definite point where Michael starts flat out refusing to do anything else for his father, and threatens to come find him; which begins the 'righting of their wrongs'. Now, I'm not saying game Michael is this saint or that he was ever a good person, he's actually a pretty good representation of a morally grey character. But to say that the bite was done with malicious and premeditated intent from Michael, when in reality it was a terrible prank on his brother because he was an asshole teenager who liked to cross the line and had no idea it was going to end that way, is an unfair assumption or judgement. Now, does that excuse the fact he was bullying his brother to a horrific point and traumatizing degrees? No, absolutely not. But does he spend the rest of his life trying to redeem himself for the things he did and the things he did for his father, (and not to mention clean up and put an end to his father's actions)? Yes. On the other hand, movie Michael shows no interest in redemption for himself or his father; he seeks the exact opposite and doubles down. I think, instead of looking at movie Michael for a parallel to game Michael, and assessing game Michael's character based off that, we should look to movie Michael as a parallel for game Elizabeth.
Now in this next bit, I'm going to explain a few parallels and mirrors between characters, and how I think there are multiple parallels per character linked to another singular character.
In the first movie, we already have a representation for the Afton siblings through the Schmidt siblings, (now bear with me here, I'm going to tie this back to the movie Aftons in a minute). Those siblings are Mike as Michael, for he's painted as "responsible" for Garrett's kidnapping, like Michael with the bite of '83. Then, Garrett as C.C., because he was the victim in the kidnapping, subbed for bite. Then, finally, Abby as Elizabeth. They are all more physical/visual representatives in my mind. I think Mike and Garrett are supposed to be more aligned to Michael and C.C., but Abby is more up in the air, since she's missing a big part of Elizabeth's character, which is the undeniable hunger for parental approval. Which, this hunger is what leads Elizabeth to carry out William's wishes, even in death. There is nothing she wouldn't do for her father, including betray her own sibling; like movie Michael. In the movies, Michael assumes the role as Elizabeth; for Vanessa is seen as the "good sibling" who goes against William's grain. Elizabeth in the games is characterized with this craze and obsession of reuniting with her father for the opposite reasons of Michael, she wants to help him because she believes what he's doing is right no matter who tries to convince her otherwise, or save her. In her voice lines, she constantly has a tone that makes it seem like she believes she's above the protagonist, who is Michael, and says things like: "You played right into our hands, did you really think this job just fell out of the sky for you? No. This was a gift... for us.", (Pizzeria Sim), "You gathered them together all in one place, just like he asked you to.", (Pizzeria Sim; teasing Michael about his task in sister location). "Now we can do what we were created to do, and be complete... I will make you proud, daddy!", (Pizzeria Sim). "I'm curious what events would lead a person to want to spend their nights in a place like this, willingly... maybe curiosity... maybe ignorance...", (Sister Location; even when appearing innocent she still takes a jab at Michael, alluding to the fact that he doesn't really know what's going on or the real reason he's down there). "You're in the scooping room. Do you know why they call it the scooping room? It's because, dummy, this is the room where they use the scooper. I thought that would be obvious. Isn't that a fun name for something? The scooper. It sounds like something you would use for ice cream, or custard, or sprinkles. It sounds like something you would want at your birthday party, to ensure that you get a heaping portion of every. Good. Thing. I wonder though, if you were a freshly opened pint of ice cream, how you would feel about something with that name... Thankfully, I don't think a freshly opened pint of ice cream feels anything at all.", (Sister Location; she is actively teasing Michael for being naive enough to believe her, and talks to him like he's a toddler. She then uses the pint of ice cream as foreshadowing and an obvious allegory for Michael, saying she doesn't really care how he feels about the situation. When she says "every good thing", I believe she's pretty much referring to 'every good thing' that keeps Michael alive, as in his organs, or 'every good thing' that's about to be inside of him the next night, which is no other than Ennard. I think it's less likely to be the latter just because of her referring to Michael as the ice cream, but I'd take either interpretation; especially since it doesn't effect the outcome or the connotation of it; or the secret third option, which I also enjoy very much, a double meaning). Elizabeth in almost all of her dialogue is abrasive towards Michael, or talking about how proud she wants her father to be of her. She antagonizes Michael not because that's what she wants, exactly, but because it's what her father would want. Elizabeth, no matter what, will always choose her father.
Now, movie Michael also talks to his sibling, Vanessa, in a similar tone of superiority, and talks about his father in a good light and what they're 'supposed' to do for him. He talks about family, and William's right to them, and how he wants to carry out William's legacy, despite Vanessa trying to tell him they could have a normal life, (which is similar to Michael trying to help Elizabeth and 'free' her, even though in the end she uses him and his literal skin). This all shows that same craving for parental approval that Elizabeth has, especially the legacy shit. Another thing that movie Michael does is deliberately drawing in innocent people because he knew what would happen, and Elizabeth does similar things to other Fazbear Employees, (reference the hung technicians you see during night 5 of sister location and the many implied deaths before that by hand unit), and game Michael himself. Movie Michael talking about carrying out his father's legacy is something I want to discuss further. He is obviously obsessed with doing exactly as his father would, implied by his Dave Miller-esc introduction, (which I believe is supposed to serve as another parallel as a small nod to The Sliver Eyes), with the Spectral Scoopers crew. He shows them around and then smiles with a beam of pride as horrible things start happening to them; that is until Charlie, or the movie's version of the vengeful spirit, (which I might elaborate upon in a different post), gets involved. He acts just as his father would, because that's what his father would want; just like game Elizabeth. Elizabeth uses words like 'our' and 'us' when she talks to Michael in Pizzeria Sim, and movie Michael does the same when giving Vanessa his whole family speech, which goes, and I quote: "Is that what you thought, Vanessa? You thought you could just trade us in, betray us, get yourself a shiny, new life? You are his child. You have a purpose. We will always be his. Come home.". Which this line is extremely similar to an aforementioned Elizabeth lines: "You played right into our hands, did you really think this job just fell out of the sky for you? No. This was a gift... for us.". and "Now we can do what we were created to do, and be complete... I will make you proud, daddy!", and additionally: "It feels like home...". Their dialogue is far too similar for movie Michael to be a parallel to game Michael, when Elizabeth is right there. Everything about them is far too similar for game Michael to be the true parallel to movie Michael, the only thing they really have in common is their names and that they worked for their fathers at some point, (even if it was for entirely different reasons).
Elizabeth in sister location talks about the other animatronics, and implies they are not as smart as she is. And she is right, they are obviously not as conscious as she is, especially if you hear her dialogue when actually talking to the other animatronics. She talks to them as if she's explaining something to a child, "He is here to help, Ballora. He is not here to hurt us. Ballora, he is here to help us.". She consistently uses them and their aggression towards Michael as an orchestrative and manipulative tactic; not only putting Michael's life at risk, but using the guidance she gave him to build trust just to ultimately turn it around and stab him in the back by the end of the game. Movie Michael uses the toy animatronics and later Charlie's anger to continue his father's work; using them and orchestrating them to his will, just like Elizabeth.
The only thing that differentiates movie Michael and Elizabeth is that Elizabeth is a little girl who died idolizing her father no matter how much he ignored her, (and probably suffered from his manipulation), and movie Michael is a grown ass man who decided to carry out his father's legacy instead of end it.
You have no idea how much I hate the 'Player is actually a Toy' Theory. Harley Sawyer, who objectifies the toys every chance he gets, calls us a human. We spent 10 years outside the factory. All evidence is just 'The Players would not survive in real life'
Don’t you ever wonder what kind of secrets and plot points Venti keeps hidden? He claims to be the weakest amongst the Seven-and that could be true given his whole 500 year slumber and poison and all- but he’s still a god. AND one of the original Seven. You gotta be good at SOMETHING to survive for this long…
He’s also the only archon so far that doesn’t have a second story quest so what is he hiding?! We have accounts of him literally shaping the land with ease from both the Golden Apple Archipelago events and his character stories. We know that he has close relationships with the Hexenzirkel and somehow managed to avoid conflict with them??? And there’s also the fact from the skyward sword series that he was originally a catalyst user before picking up the bow in honor of Amos. He’s pulling a Childe when it comes to weapons he currently uses and the ones he’s proficient in.
And don’t even get me started on his connection with Istharoth and Celestia! Mondstadt already has the Thousands Winds Temple AND the nameless island where both Venti and Istharoth were once worshipped. And from Before Sun and Moon, we know that the Thousand Winds (which Venti IS A PART OF) were once called the Thousand Winds of TIME, all of whom were created and controlled by Istharoth. AND THEN you have Venti suspiciously appearing in the right place at the right time again and again and again. He even self proclaimed knowing every song: past, present, and future. Hell he’s probably one of the only few beings in Teyvat who can naturally bypass Irminsul because of his songs: Nahida already shown it’s possible to save deleted info if rearranged into fiction so the same should work for songs and poetry. And there’s also what the hydro fungus in Nahida’s second story quest said about changing forms. That you need time for growth to occur. And Nahida - an ARCHON- had trouble maintaining her fungus form for even the short period of time. She was even told that to do so for longer, one would need to bypass time itself which is near impossible. AND YET VENTI CHANGED INTO THE FORM OF HIS FRIEND IMMEDIATELY AFTER RECEIVING HIS GNOSIS AND HAS YET TO CHANGE BACK OR TIRE FROM FATIGUE (as we know it). HOW STRONG IS HE. Sure, the yokai in Inazuma and Adepti in Liyue can all change into a human form, but we know in game that it takes a long time and steady energy to take on a human shape, and the Adepti all seem to have that ability naturally: there’s no bending the laws of nature if it’s already natural to them. So what’s Venti’s excuse?!
As for Celestia: there’s already written in the statue of Barbatos “the gateway to Celestia” and what not. And Khanreia! In the chasm AND in the Caribert quest, Barbatos and Mondstadt keep getting named dropped. According to Dainself, the city in the chasm is supposedly OLDER than Khanreia and possibly the Seven, yet BARBATOS of all beings is mentioned in the records you find??? And in Caribert, it’s a Mondstadtian woman who that one bloke had a child with. Never mind that Mondstadt is where Kaeya and Albedo - the two characters with confirmed Khanreian origins- end up! There’s also the fact that Khanreia seems to base its gods and names and whatever around Norse mythology….which has strong ties to GERMANIC HISTORY. WHICH MONDSTADT IS BASED OFF OF. And Enkanomiya, which was once ruled by Istaroth, is Greek origin. Suspicious considering all the connections to HERMES Venti keeps portraying. (And then there’s also a connection to all three places with the hexenzerkel with their Chinese names? Like I think I read somewhere that Alice is Aries(?)/Eris(?) and Nicole is actually Nike in the Chinese version? Which are very much based in Roman/Greek origins)
Oh and something I forgot to mention earlier with the whole Istharoth connection. Mondstadt’s saying “seeds of stories, brought by the wind, and cultivated through time”. SUSPICIOUS
Anyways, this has been my nonsensical Venti theory rant
And you’re stuck with me @worldsokayestmagicalgirl
I know why Neptune left his moon in the Kuiper belt.
One of mysteries that has been boggling in my mind is why Neptune left his pequenas lunas in the Kuiper belt? He couldn't have simply forgotten them, they are one of the few things he can remember. It kinda irked me that a planet could be so caring towards all his moons, yet had lost track of them somehow. Leaving his little moons in the care of his kidnapped adoptive moon. Neptune would be more careless than caring. He didn't even protest a little bit when Triton told him he was gonna take the moons to fight in the revolution. I should critique Triton for not letting the moons stay with Neptune over fighting against the planets. However, I also think it's weird that Triton prefers letting the moons go with strangers than their planet. Triton taking the little moons to join the moon revolution could be a way to ensure they'ren’t left alone. Neptune had left his moons and nearly everyone assumed it's because Neptune is forgetful. So Triton was glad there was a reliable group they could fall back on instead of their absent planet. However, there is no way Neptune lost them by accident, but there is no way he meant to abandon them. Triton and the other moons must know this and Triton was just tired of babysitting. Based on the little moons’ pleasant reaction to Neptune's return his absence didn't weigh on them or they are used to those long absences. Neptune is kind to his moons and he is glad when everyone is sticking together. He wouldn't want to make them fret or make them feel unimportant. Neptune has been gone for a long time according to Triton. Neptune went away to do something where he couldn't take his moons. It's not clear why Neptune would leave his moons behind. We know he's been away from the Sun. What he was doing out there is what I like to discuss. You see, if Neptune can't forget his moons that must mean can't forget where he last had them. I think my top theory was as to why Neptune left his moons in the belt was because Triton was found out to be a former planet. Not wanting Triton to be interrogated he hid his moons in the belt and laid low till things blew over. The new theory I have is more fun than Neptune being a wanted criminal.
I believe Neptune's reason for not bringing his moons is because he couldn't risk Triton learning the truth of his origins. At least not until he was certain he was able to mend things. One odd thing Neptune knows is how gravity works. I guess it's not too important if Neptune or Jupiter did the math, but somebody must've figured out how Triton was able to orbit around Neptune. In a solarballs short (take this with a grain of salt because shorts aren't very canon) Triton had a twin brother. Gasp! Neptune probably felt partially responsible for the moonslaughter of his previous moons, and felt bad about lying to Triton about everything. If he learned that his moon was part of a double planet system, he could've felt obligated to help find the other body he sent flying. I don't know how long Neptune was out there looking for a missing dwarf planet but I think he found what he was looking for and returned. So where is Triton missing brother? He's playing a dangerous game.
The dwarf planet candidates went to warn the dwarf planets about the incoming rogues. But how did they get that knowledge? How do they even know about the rogue planets? Do they know or assume that rogue planets are a threat? I can tell based on Wise's reaction to being called a failed star and following up that he's a cool planet that the rogue probably doesn't have a good association with stars. Ogle said that he found new recruit members and X was recruited because he said he didn't belong. The rogue planets are giving the impression that they go looking for planets that have been discarded by their solar systems. Letting them join their community. They lookout for unstable star systems where planets are likely to join their group. Or if they are heading towards the solar system then they must not like how the Sun has been treating his planets. I don't know what X said to the rogue but they must've been waiting for the opportunity if they've been watching out for nearby star systems like they said. They were waiting for the advantage to overthrow the solar system. The dpc must've also been aware of their inevitable arrival. I think I know how they can be aware of the rogue planets. Or a possibility. They have a dwarf planet on the inside. That's right! Triton's brother has been playing for both sides. He was flung out of the solar system and was found by the rogue. When he found out that the rogue planets aren't that friendly he helped start the dwarf planets scout thing in case they tried to invade his old home where his brother still resides. Neptune did meet him and he was finally ready to stop leaving his moons for long periods of time. He found what he was looking for.
Hahahahaha! That was fun. I don't have high hopes this is accurate, this is made for the fun of it
You know, I still just love how similar Mahiru and Tsubaki actually are, despite how they’re enemies on opposing teams.
Growing up, they both had a singular central parent figure they looked up to and cherished. Because of family tensions in both scenarios, neither Mahiru nor Tsubaki was familiar with anyone else in the rest of the supposed extensive family. Therefore, when that person died, their worlds came tumbling down.
I’m going to hazard a guess and say that they both probably got a bit of a case of survivors guilt from this; Tsubaki was absent at the time of Sensei’s death, and even now his grief is a chief driving factor in the narrative. It’s somewhat a manga vs anime thing on whether Mahiru was present when his mother passed, but regardless, I would wager, as a child with no other family, that he would have felt that he had been left behind, taken away unfairly, and maybe even that he could have altered her fate in some way.
Later, we can see, if for only for a shorter period of time, how both of them suffer because of this. They are both rejected by their family, alienated. Eventually, even as they attempt to make new relationships and friends, they can’t move on that easily. If memory serves me right (and it might be a little off, it’s 3am and I’m not doing fact checking for a ramble) Little Mahiru ended up simply collapsing where he stood after a rough day at school, lying motionless and crying until his uncle found him later that night.
Which of course, leads to the main divergence. Which is Tooru. Tooru is a stabilising factor for Mahiru during a time of grief and melancholy. He accepts Mahiru as ‘family’ and coaxes him through his grief. He teaches him to redirect his anger and pain into helping others and dealing with it in a fairly healthy manner. Tsubaki, on the other hand, has no one. Instead of dealing with his pain and grief, he focuses instead on revenge and sharing his suffering with those that abandoned him and caused him pain. He does, eventually, find himself a new family, but by that point his reluctance to let go of the past means he can’t actually move past his melancholy like Mahiru did.
I like to think Mahiru keep trying to help Tsubaki because he sees his younger self in him; a broken, lonely boy, who was rejected by his family and lost the person they cared for most in a cruel and unjust way.
Also, they both have a habit of collecting oddballs and forming a tight-knit found family. And then being fiercely protective at even the concept of them, or their happiness, being harmed in any way. I like to think that’s also why Sakuya and Lilac adjusted so quickly to Mahiru’s presence; he’s just like Tsubaki. While the Servamp of Melancholy is a bit more of a distracted airhead in his free time, they’re both annoyingly stubborn and fiercely loyal when push comes to shove.
Maybe not a good Dark Deception theory but... Let me rant for a bit
So, there’s a high chance that the character we play as is male and this is important because if this is true then it means that he was the father. Both ‘Elementary Evil’ (EE) and ‘Stranger Sewers’ (SS) have secrets that could possibly prove this. Agatha’s whiteboard has a drawing of a mum and girl drowning in a burning car, while the father is probably watching them burn. Say father is you for the sake of making this easier to understand, the first secret in SS shows a possible diary entry from the father, it states that ‘I need to cut them off while I still can’ because both were too ‘mentally damaged’.
He ‘got plenty of money’ and is ‘still young and attractive’. Did he kill both his family members because ’they’re sucking the joy out of [his] life’?? Maybe. This could also explain the ‘Deadly Decadence’ (DD) level being all about the Gold Watchers. GOLD. The father was wealthy and the mum knew this. She was willing to ‘use that defective kid to bleed money out of [him] forever’. He also knows that she’ll pull off that move and states ‘I still need to do something about them though.’ and ‘I want to be free of them’.
This is my evidence on how he did ‘something about them’. He killed them and made it look like a tragic accident, he knows both women are ‘mentally damaged’, and he is wealthy enough to cover up his tracks. The walls also have meaning, but it’s like 4-5 am while I’m writing this. Most of the words of the walls are referring to him, like ‘Heartless’, but the SS ones could possibly be referring to how he saw his family. It only makes sense because it has ‘Insufferable, just like her’.
If you’re about to ask about the other two levels ‘Monkey Business’ (MB) and ‘Crazy Carnevil’ (CC), I think he took them to a hotel and carnival before murdering them, possibly trying to make nice memories before killing them off. This whole storyline could be about how one man tried to leave his wife and child behind but eventually goes for murder. It could be about how he tried to make good memories with his family, especially his daughter, which I think is called Kristen Draisy.
This could also explain the other levels that haven’t come out. A Nurse with a rather large syringe, a teddy bear and animatronics. Nurse --> Hospital that he kept going to for his wife and daughter. Teddy bear --> Children love toys. No more should really be explained. Animatronics ---> the level is in a pizza place. We could be celebrating a birthday for all we know.
The only reason the father would be there would be because he regrets it. He knows he is going to hell and is possibly trying to use Bierce to wish for them back so he doesn’t go to hell. Bierce is using him to get rid of Malak, who’s trying to take her soul. They both need the Riddle of Heaven Ring to do that. Malak is trying to stop you, so he can take Bierce’s soul. It’s literally a game of Cat and Mouse, but it’s a long-term game and you’re the mouse-trap that’s trying to lure one of them out.
Either it’s that or you’re playing as Kristen Draisy’s psychiatrist, but y’know, this is all just a stoopid theory I’ve made up that’s probably not right.
