I appreciate people who give eye contact with the quietest or least influential ones in group conversations instead of excluding them. Unfortunately, it is a bare minimum that not everyone is sensitive enough to do.

“then you tell me why.”
“I don’t know, okay?? Maybe you spiked her lunch time thermos with a hallucinogen. Maybe you put on an oscar-worthy performance. H e l l , maybe she goes into a fugue state around you and turns conveniently blind, deaf, and dumb. I don’t freaking know why Jenna likes you! There! I’ll admit it. But don’t - don’t!! - Give me that smug smile,” Cami bit the words harshly, jabbing one finger in the air at the woman who was as calm as she was rattled. “Because whatever trick you’re playing, I’m gonna figure it out. And once I do, Jenna’s the first person I’m going to tell. Whatever it is that she sees in you, she’s wrong.” @jenna-from-the-block
“anything, just call me, okay?”
Jennifer Blake’s cell number was scrawled onto a scrap of paper and shoved in his hand. Her eyes were earnest as she looked up at him, her lips forming words he didn’t really expect to hear from her. “Anything, just call me, okay?” He nodded his acknowledgement as she turned to leave, but he didn’t anticipate needing the number.
Tossing the paper into the top drawer in the kitchen, he continued through to the couch and sat down heavily, sagging under the weight of his thoughts. She’d come here in a whirlwind, worried about Cora’s well being. Saying she’d been missing from school that day and there’d been another death. It was the latter that truly concerned him. Why were they happening? They’d started a few months ago but it seemed it was more than just a one-hit-wonder if another body had turned up…
One thing was for sure, the alpha was going to be keeping an annoyingly closer eye on Cora. She was a virgin after all, don’t ask him how he knows that, and it seems to be the serial killers MO. A part of him was grateful that Jennifer was looking out for her, but it still begged the question: why?

Jenna sighed while she put her books in her car. She was tired and all her muscles felt sore. Maybe she thought that working full-time after being out for a couple of weeks couldn't be that hard, but it seemed that she had been wrong. During the last two periods she had been counting the minutes, even the seconds, but at least the day was over now. She quickly looked up if Jennifer was on the parking lot already and when she didn't see the other teacher she checked her reflection in the mirror. At least her tiredness wasn't visible under her eyes. Yet.

That he enjoys watching CSI and other crime shows and tries to see if he can guess who the killer is before it's revealed. He keeps a little tally of the number of times he's been right.
LOL and he will get it right EVERY TIME.
