I’ve realized the problem is that I have so many fandoms I read... These will be general unless otherwise stated!
👿 What trope do you hate / avoid at all costs?
Oof, okay, I cannot do A/B/O. I remember coming across one of those fics a while ago, probably back in my Klaine days, and not knowing what it was. So that was fun! But yeah, I avoid those.
🤷 What thing that your fandom loves do you just not “get”?
Hmmm. I’ve come across, like, kidnap or gun violence fics. Like, one half of a ship gets kidnapped or shot and the other has to avenge them, or whatever. I’m not sure anyone ~loves~ that, but it is something I don’t really get the appeal of.
🏆 What do you wish more authors in your fandom would write about?
I just want all the AUs. Especially Harry Potter AUs. But also, I wish there were more like character analysis-y type fics? I like fics that really delve into the psyche of a character, especially when the show doesn’t really do that (I’m looking at you, Nico and Grizz). I also just like getting other’s views of complex elements of a character.
Oh gosh. Hm, I’m gonna break this up by fandom, I guess.
David x Patrick: I want a Harry Potter AU. Maybe one already exists, but I haven’t found one. I want one. Also, I want one where they didn’t get together and then at the housewarming party they get each other in Spin the Bottle.
Schmico: It was a Bachelor AU, but I caved and wrote it... Oh, frat boy Nico AU is one that I throw around in my head a lot. I think it has been done, but I have a particular setup in mind.
Grizzam: I just like the AUs that explore if they never went to the other universe. A lot of those exist and they’re the ones I tend to gravitate towards.
Scorbus: I like Social Media AUs for them? I don’t know, I kind of love all the Scorbus AUs I’ve read, but especially since creating fake social media for my own fic, I’m kind of into the idea of them being typical Gen Zers with all the social media.
