BONK!
my favorite fic of yours: think it’s gonna be begin again! i love it, it’s very sweet. the first few paragraphs are a wonderful introspection of jonathan after the events of s1, with him being attached to nancy but needing to keep his feelings at bay. falling back into himself, rebuilding his shell. angsty angst. but THEN. you spin the fic around. as he’s taking her home (his home), taking care of her, there is such a softness between them that it feels like fluff even if their conversation is still quite heavy. she may be drunk and sad, but he is kind and here. making her coffee, lending her his shirt. and the romantic tensionnnn. (also, ao3 says you wrote it before the second season. if so, can we appreciate the fact that you predicted him taking her home from a party at tina’s house??!)
my favorite thing about you as a writer: hmm besides the fact that you’re a cotton candy machine? (fluff joke.) probably how digestible your fic is. by that i dont mean that it’s plain but that you focus on feeling. not just the feelings of characters but how it feels to read. you don’t get lost in boring/unrelated description (that’s something i think i do a lot). your writing feels compact, but not constricted. happy and light and funny and sincere and dirty. i also love all the tropes you use. only one bed. fake relationship to get her out of talking to a douche. a sex dream about jonathan and his twin.
my favorite scene you’ve written: definitely the proposal in long distance plans. the dialogue is really memorable and cute. ‘“sounds like we’re married,” nancy laughed slightly. jonathan’s heart sped up. “do you wanna?”’

I’m so mad they did that. Had Sansa be with/near all these old dudes and evil dudes… and then the one dude who isn’t old (he’s 23 in show canon) or evil… nothing. Blah.
honestly. the only people sansa’s ever been kissed by have been abusers and manipulators -- joffrey, littlefinger, ramsay. and then the one character the show actually gave her some legit romantic potential with they murder before they can follow through. sansa stark deserves better. sansa stark deserves a love that doesn’t hurt.

The movie was really good. Y’all little freaks need to stop ruining it
it WAS really good. i enjoyed it tremendously from a comic fan perspective, and from a film lover’s perspective, and from the perspective of someone who was trained in script and screenwriting for several years.
but i also made a silly “ha ha alien sexy” post about it, and that’s okay.
Re: this post
@thequeenofshebasays agreed! I do forget about that scene - the issue is, the fact that Steve and Nancy are broken up, it’s stated by /Billy/ and Steve doesn’t confirm or deny Billy saying they’re broken up. Either the Duffers wanted it to look ambiguous (cuz they’re shit writers when it comes to Nancy and Jonathan, which we already know) or they couldn’t be bothered to just have Steve say “It’s over” to Nancy’s face during their argument. They wanted Steve to /only/ look like a victim. Most would rather just paint Nancy as the cheating bitch who did Steve wrong than see that argument as a breakup. The dialogue between Steve and Nancy isn’t clear enough, and when it comes to a girl breaking a pretty white guy’s heart, any ambiguity will be used to paint her as the only one at fault. It’s fucking annoying af.
EDIT: Alright, so here’s the breakdown of the dialogue of the scene where Billy and another guy (is it Tommy?) talk about Steve and Nancy breaking up in the showers.
Tommy: You and the princess break up for one day, she’s already running off with the freak’s brother.
Steve: *says nothing*
Tommy: Oh shit. You don’t know. Jonathan and the princess skipped yesterday. Still haven’t shown. But that must just be a coincidence, right?
Billy: Don’t take it too hard, man. A pretty boy like you’s got nothing to worry about. Plenty of bitches in the sea. Am I right?
Steve: *says nothing*
Billy: I’ll be sure to leave you some.
Steve says nothing. Literally does not talk. Just looks at these two assholes with suppressed anger, but we don’t know what he’s thinking. Is he resigned? Is he accepting what they’re saying? We don’t know. Again, the Duffers leave too much up to assumption. And we all know that most are going to assume Nancy is a cheating bitch, a manipulator, and a liar, when she breaks Steve’s heart - because Steve is a pretty white guy who goes on to be the “mom” of Dustin and his friends.
Also congrats to every person who’s called Nancy a bitch, a thot, or some other variant. You have something in common with B*lly H*rgrove. :)

Also this is a pathetic post… you know good damn well how people feel about it. Well anyway. Your dumb post ended up in the jancy tag so I saw it (putting anti in front doesn’t make it not appear in the tag.) Jonathan is bae and Nancy is amazing and those are facts 🤷🏾♀️
I don’t know “damn well” how people feel about it because I only watched ST last December and barely interact with the fandom aside from reblogging a gifset every now and then.
Sorry but I don’t think a half assed “I never said what I did was okay” counts as an actual apology. And even if he did, I am still allowed to be uncomfortable with his actions, because they were creepy.
I was not in the Jancy tag. You searched for posts containing Jancy and this post contained it, but that’s not the same as a tag. You not knowing how the search system works is not my problem.
thequeenofshebasays said: Please tell I’m the only one who was disturbed by how steve reacted so violently and cruelly to seeing nancy and jon sitting next to each other and how he slut shamed her on the theater sign and then also attacked Jonathan’s family in an evil way… or how for a year he made forced Nancy not to deal with her depression and guilt so he himself could feel better! For over a year! I mean what a selfish jerk… but oh wait! Fandom ignores that.
I have no idea why you are bringing Steve up since I did not mention him but fine. And while I do like Steve I think he was a jerk for most of season 1 but then he actually did start to change, buying Jon a new camera, cleaning the graffiti. If you can’t defend Jonathan on his own grounds, you do not have an argument.

We have? I must have amnesia since this is the first time I have ever seen your url. And I only watched the show last December so I don’t see how we can have been through this “a bajillion times” in the space of a month and a half.
Did Daisy and John not get any photos together at the Star Wars LA premiere??????? I’m sad.
They stood next to each other in group photos but sadly, I think that is it :( Hopefully they’ll have some pics together at the London premiere!

Is she half Vulcan? I was trying to figure that out and then I looked at her ears and that intrigues me... I mean with how AOS kept messing with time and all...
I think she’s human, but possibly raised by vulcans for some reason. She could also be a mostly human vulcan/human hybrid, but it would mess up with trek canon too much as Spock is supposed to be the first vulcan/human hybrid (and the first who joined starfleet). The only way she could be part vulcan and not mess up with canon is if this series was set in the future of the aos timeline (hence the S/U’s future kid vibe she gives me), but it isn’t.
