I have the same name as Winnie :0 I wonder how Noble would react to that LOL
"Hi my name is Winnie" Noble: "Nope. Not doing that. You're Love now." "What"
the desire to write vs my new work schedule that means i'm fucking exhausted by the time i've done everything i need to do to prepare for the next day
my toxic trait is believing that Moonjo could have been a relatively normal person because he’s not inherently evil by nature, yet has been carved into a monster by his surroundings. As Ms. Eom said- “I made you who you are.” and “Do you know why people around me are sick? Because I make them sick.”
In my defense, Strangers from Hell massively plays around with the concepts of “People aren’t born evil, it’s circumstances that make them so” but also “Everyone’s a little evil, but most are taught not to act as such”. I’d say the former is more accurate, and the show makes good arguments for it.
Like how Moonjo turned Jongwoo into a killer because he saw potential in him, the same can probably be said for when Ms. Eom found a starving boy who had shown potential in the form of killing his abusive parents.
And it’s funny because Moonjo himself believes in the latter. When Jongwoo asks him why he does what he does, he answer that there’s no real reason. That it’s simply within people’s nature to do such things. And he believes this whole-heartedly because it’s not like there has ever been a kind, loving person in his life to convince him otherwise.
Obviously either case doesn’t justify his actions, I just enjoy entertaining the idea of all the what ifs in Moonjo’s story.
if Felix is a cat and Cuphead likes a cat why doesn't Cuphead like Felix then? 🤔🤔
Callum: Why would I ever cheat on you??
