It’s ironic how when you tell people in your inner circle that you’re queer they’re “honoured you felt comfortable enough to share something so vulnerable with them”

But when you’re publicly outted they are enraged “that you lied to them this whole time”

You would not believe the petty lengths I go to in my imagination to cuckold Theriault and his coaching resume.

Did he get himself a position as the head coach for the oldest hockey team in the league?

Yes.

Did he drag them to the playoffs at least once at the beginning of his career?

Probably.

Was there a drought of Montreal doing anything worth talking about other than their mediocre performances and management before they drafted one Shane Hollander?

Yes.

Did Theriault provide the framework for the absolute Mad Lad Hockey Boy Hollander to drag the team to the playoffs his very first year on the ice?

Yes.

Did he ride the wave along with everyone else that Hollander created for the team for nigh to a decade of accolades and awards being laid to the team’s record?

Yes.

Did all of this stop the moment Shane Hollander left?

Yes.

Was Theriault a decent hockey coach?

Sure. For the AHL maybe.

Did he deserve those three Stanley Cup rings?

No.

Could Theriault have done this with any other talented player on his team that he had the responsibility to develop?

No.

Will he go down in hockey history as just another coach who fumbled massive talent and cost himself and his team further legendary successes?

Yes.

i mean that man was his coach for like a Decade and between shane's relationship with hockey, being the inarguable Star of the team, the climate of the metro/voyageurs locker room, theriault's general brand of asshole, and canada's,,,,,,,troubled,,,,, hockey culture

i mean that has to be one hell of a relationship

thinking mutually obsessive, almost paternal but deeply conditional, vaugely emotionally abusive, whiplashesque thoughts,,,,,,

or idfk maybe it's more mundane but i Want it to be a little twisted for both of them
