Zack Snyder’s Justice League. As much as I enjoy the MCU, the kid inside me has always been a Batman and Superman fan. Movie was more like the Lord of the Rings than MCU, a mixture of “Woah thats cool”, “What is going on?”, “This is taking way too long”, and back to “Woah thats cool”. In other words, really enjoyed it.

The Snydercut. 

I watched it. 

Tbh I was pretty biased going in. I disliked MoS and hated BvS so I had no reason to expect this to be any good, but I will have to eat my shit cus it wasn’t as bad as I expected. 

But it still wasn’t that good. 

First off yes its way better than the theatrical cut. It flows much better and doesn’t feel like a frankenstien monster. I’ve heard a lot of people say its a completely different movie, but there wrong...and right. Its completely different but also exactly the same. Its weird. Many of the problems I have with Snyder’s movies are still present. 

Wonder Woman murders a lot of people in this. Like with no remorse or hesitation. That doesn’t sit right with me at all. I don’t care what anyone says she doesn’t and shouldn't kill. Batman also kills of course. Which is something I don’t even have to explain why thats bad. 

Superman is wasted in the film. He barely appears in the movie and has less lines than the theatrical cut I feel. One of the biggest problem with him is that there's a lot of talk about why and how great Superman is, but we don’t see how good he is. Snyder doesn’t focus on the Clark side of him like at all. 

Lois Lane appears sporadically threw out the film and all she does is mourn Superman. Like the film just shows her to remind you that she exists and doesn’t give her anything to do.

Ezra Miller as Flash is still bad. He did have some cool shit to do so thats good I guess. 

The cgi ranged from okay to actually kinda bad. The green screens were some of the worst I’ve seen in any big budget movie I’ve seen in years. 

Cyborg was much more fleshed out which is good. He ended up being a character that I actually cared about at the end. His design still looks bad tho. 

The Joker scene I feel was a waste of time. I mean yeah sure its funny that Leto sounds like Jim Carry, but I feel like that whole scene could've been cut. 

Overall it was decent, but I still had problems with it. Its not the masterpiece that many people convinced themselves it is. Its above average, but if you dislike Snyder's take on these characters then this isn’t gonna win you over.
