I am going through all my stuff and purging what I don’t need/want. I found these experimental photo Etching…they look a little rough, but they were my first attempt at multi-plate etchings! Making the plates and the registration to print multiple plates were all new to me...can't throw these away! Too many good memories! . . . #etching #wip #firsttry #experiment #thestart #thestartofitall #photograph #photogravure #photoart #printmaking #test #goodtimes
December 24, 2016 I've decided to relaunch my blog. You don't know me, nor do I you. Maybe one day, we can drop that veil. Welcome to my world. You don't know me yet, but I hope you do soon. I'm a simple person with big dreams. I am the one of many. I write. I take photos. But each photo I take has a simple story. One you've never heard before. I will launch my blog and my stories on December 24, 2016. 2017 will be my journey to make something of myself on my own. I hope you decide to join me on this as well. I know I won't get anywhere without you. Go to my website link in bio to sign up for updates! I know you won't regret it. #thestartofitall #beginning #ambition #thesabahour #styleblogger #stories #soon #wanderlust
The Start Of It All
I grew up in a very small town. So moving to the “big city” atmosphere was a big change for me. Lots of traffic, lots of people, lots of things to see and do, all of which I was not used to. This move was trying, to say the least. I had to make a lot of adjustments to handle my busy schedule and transition into college at the same time. This required a lot of change on my part.
This semester was the beginning of my college career. And, like most schools, my university required a first-year seminar course as a prerequisite for the semesters to follow. Great. I’d heard enough horror stories about these types of classes. That they were a joke, a waste of time, nothing but a fluff grade, and so much more. Needless to say, I wasn’t looking forward to this commitment to something that would do nothing more than take up more time that I didn’t have in my schedule. However, I got lucky and selected what had to be the most perfect course for me: KSU 1121 “Be The Change”. Sounded easy enough, right? Do some volunteer work, build up a good resume. This would give me at least some benefit in the end and wouldn’t be as big of a waste. Little did I know I was in for a world of change; change in myself, change in my life, and change that I would make in my community.
