How come your worst thing about studyblr is that there aren't more 'normal' notes, yet you repost other people's aesthetic photos without credit instead of making your own?
I do post my own too!! I tag them under #thetinypsychologist, #mypost and #mine !! And when I reblog other’s photos it gives them credit automatically by showing their URL!! I still love and appreciate aesthetic notes (I make my own *aesthetically* but I would love to see more messy notes too and the realness behind studying!! I feel it’s something collectively we as a community need to work towards :-)
What’s your fav subject in it so far?? I’m really enjoying perception
I just did some notes on perception today hehe - I think my favourite topics are psychopathology, personality, child development and anything to do with the cognitive side of psychology!! Which is a lot haha
Hey I'm a new follower! I'm in my third year of psychology right now. How are you liking it so far?
Hey!! I love love love studying psychology!! This is my fifth(?) year studying it and I never get bored!!
psych anon here my studyblr is @polyg-lotte but its a sideblog lol thats why im on anon, what type of psychology do you/are you going to study? i chose neuropsychology and its LIT also whats ur opinion on freud?
Just given you a follow! I’m just doing a straight Psychology BSc at university right now. In the future I’m considering going into Clinical!! In terms of Freud I think his concepts and theories are really interesting but a lot of it is kinda crazy e.g. the Oedipus Complex lol. Some of his research is less controversial like the defence mechanisms and the whole concept of the unconscious motivating your drives but at the same time it all needs to be taken with a pinch of salt!!
your blog is PRETTY im also a psych student :D
Thank you so much!!!! That’s so cool we’re psych twins ! :D
Update!
Hello I am back from an unannounced hiatus! I start university on the 21st and I’ll be studying psychology! I’m happy with my A-Level grades and super excited to start studying again as well as hopefully becoming more active here!!
I’m in year 11, now going into 12. And I want to take History as an A Level, I’m fascinated by the subject. But I’m scared it’ll be a lot heavier then GCSE History. Is it any different? And do you have any tips✨Thank you☀️
It definitely is a lot of work, I won’t lie! Where GCSE is lots of topics in a little bit of depth, A-Level is fewer topics in an immense amount of depth and there is a lot to learn, however, it is incredibly interesting and personally, I loved the subject content! Writing essays is probably the biggest jump as the style changes a lot more. There isn’t a set structure you can use the way there is at GCSE but once you get the hang of it, it’s fine! At my sixth form we could drop and change our A-Level options within the first month but until then you could ask anyone you know who did A-Level History and see how they found it, or do some research into the topics you may be studying. I promise though, the jump isn’t as scary and big as it seems!
