bloodxedrose: bloodxedrose
The words don’t fall on deaf ears, Zero hears and she understands, but she doesn’t believe. “Then tell me, even if you regret these acts, with all your hear and with all of your being, what if you don’t stop?” She asks after a pause. “What if you don’t want to kill, but you just can’t help yourself? What about the ones driven by instinct, and continue murdering and feeding, even when a small part of them know that it’s wrong?”
Zero is speaking of herself to a degree, though she won’t say this bluntly. She’s constantly fighting her hunger, even now she can feel the thirst clawing at the back of her mind, and though she knows it’s wrong and sickening, she still gets a sick pleasure and satisfaction when she tastes the crimson on her lips.
Just because she regrets it, doesn’t make her any less of a monster in her eyes.
“But you do stop, you haven’t fallen that low yet because your strong. Kaien has told me a lot about what you’ve been through, how this happened and how hard you fight against it even when it seems impossible. He may be very goofy a lot of the time; but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t realize what you go through–and understand how much it hurts." She was getting just a little off topic, but she had a point coming.
"He worries about you. Not just because of the vampire thing, he knows your pain more than you’d think. You might not know me–you might mot want to talk to a stranger like me about the things your going through all that much. My words probably wont mean much even if I try to convince you there sincere. My point? Tell him you want a serious talk and give him a chance–you’d probably be surprised at how well he can listen.”
