None of Dabi's siblings need to earn his forgiveness and if Dabi sees their different views as rejection that's on him not them. And if they do need to earn his forgiveness wouldn't it have been better if they all died in the explosion instead? I can't think of anything worse than having to earn forgiveness from a villain who doesn't deserve it. No it's Dabi who needs to earn the forgiveness by grovelling and begging and much more. In fact no one should forgive him until he proves himself.
Where did I say they need to earn it? Quote me. Find me one single quote where I said anything like that (except for Enji; I have said that about him, but that's completely different). In fact, I said his siblings didn't.
You're screaming at nothing because you're projecting your own hurts onto the story. I'm not preaching at you. You don't need to forgive whomever hurt you.
No one deserves forgiveness, Nonnymouse. Forgiveness is a choice on behalf of a person. There is no "should" or "shouldn't" regarding forgiveness. Forgiveness is a choice that an individual makes. For better or for worse. Forgiveness isn't an olive branch. Forgiveness isn't a bargain or a condition to get someone where you want them. Forgiveness is a choice that can only for certain affect the person making said choice.
Sometimes people forgive people for things they didn't intentionally do. Perceptions aren't reality. Your perception isn't reality.
I'm going to quote Cormac McCarthy (RIP) here:
Mercy is the province of the person alone. There is mass hatred and there is mass grief. Mass vengeance and even mass suicide. But there is no mass forgiveness. There is only you.
