Alright. I’m going to fucking lose it.

I’m so sick of writers and artist and idiots at DC having Plastic Man be a fucking creep.

Because all these “jokes” they have him do? Aren’t funny. They’re gross at best and fucking heinous at worst, and I’m fucking sick of it.

The worst part? So many people are blaming Plastic Man. Like he’s some sort of real person??? He’s. He’s not bro. He’s not real. He’s ink and words on a page guys.

And those are ink and words written and drawn and reviewed by People. Someone sat down and wrote those “jokes”. Someone sat down, looked at what was written, and drew them out. Someone sat down, looked at what was drawn and written, and decided this was okay to put out to the public.

Plastic Man isn’t a creep, or at least he shouldn’t be. But given how often he’s portrayed as such, it wouldn’t be too farfetched to assume that the writers who wrote those jokes are.

And I feel it’s important to view characters who have many many interpretations at their best, especially when so many writers and artists’ interpretations of characters fucking SUCK.

Batman kidnapped a kid off the street, tossed him into the Batcave with nothing to eat?? NOT CANON. Reed Richards diagnosing himself with autism only to say that he’s going to cure himself in the same breath? GET RID OF IT!!! Plastic man being a fucking pervert for no fucking reason except that it makes incels laugh? Fucking burn it.
