With some help from @ellioutofthewoods I have put together an analysis of Phan Twitter videos, and the representation of Tumblr within them, just before #10 comes out (🤞)

As you can see, our average is ~14%, with the minimum being 0% in #1 and maximum being 26% in #5. Since peaking in #5 the proportion has been consistently lower with a slight but steady decline.

Personally I have hopes for the next video bringing us back to at least 15% but only time can tell.

Phil deserves someone better because Dan is OBVIOUSLY too obsessed with hunting that famed great white whale in an old schooner on the Atlantic Ocean to be a good boyfriend.

He CLEARLY keeps ignoring Phil and leaving him to go on all these trips to seek vengeance on his eternal foe, that whale known as the pale leviathan of the deep.

Everyone can see that Dan so CRUELLY insults Phil because of his misdirected anger for the scourge of the Pequod. And poor Phil- the doomed Pip of the story, inevitably fated to madness in his abandonment with only an ant for a friend, lost in a sea of fabrics dyed moldy green.

Dan is obviously driven mad by his quest for vengeance on that old harpoon breaker, and proves himself incapable of being a good partner lest he capitulate his ruthless vendetta, which he’ll never do, for the depth of his hatred against that gliding aquatic avalanche runs too deep. 😔

Just woke up from a dnp dream. They had posted a video detailing a rough patch they had gone through as a couple and they were like “pretty much as soon as we got together, we began to grow apart—goalwise, emotionally, aesthetically…” And I remember lowkey judging them for thinking that “growing apart aesthetically” was an actual problem. People on tumblr figured out the timeline of their rough patch (it was 2015??) and were like, “omg, dan and Phil were going through their rough patch at the same time we were all making fun of the serving sizes on their juice boxes…it must have been so hard for them :(“ because in this universe Dan and Phil apparently released a poorly received juice circa 2015

this whole thing is so funny but i'm obsessed with the juice boxes. not to keep making you guys' dreams into bits but can we start talking about dan and phil's juice box scandal the same way people (me) bring up the zoella advent calendar any time she's mentioned

growing apart aesthetically is also hilarious because i can hear dan saying those words in my head
