virgil teaches his boyfriend logan memes. of course he does. he calls logan “babey” once and logan is confused. virgil. virgil i am not an infant what are you doing.

virgil teaches him the meme conjugation - i’m babey, you’re babey, he/she/it is babey, etc. frequently, virgil will point to logan and go WHAT ARE YOU?

and logan will respond: i’m . . . babey?

and virgil will grin and kiss his nose and logan will blush adorably and it’s very sappy and gay

cut to a few weeks later 

virgil is getting fed up with deceit’s chaotic neutral shenanigans, so he does that gordon ramsay meme. you know, the one where he holds two pieces of bread against someone’s head and shouts “WHAT ARE YOU?!” and the person shamefully responds “an idiot sandwich”

so logan’s lurking in the kitchen, right, watching this entire thing in confusion

and virgil, holding the bread against deceit’s face, shouts “WHAT IS HE, LOGAN?!”

logan, very confused, shuffled through his notecards and confusedly says “. . . . he’s babey?????”

virgil and deceit stare at him for a minute, and then slowly turn to look at each other.

fifteen minutes later, they are both still rolling on the floor laughing so hard they’re crying and wheezing. logan is lost (tm)

Took me a while to get around to drawing this, I hope you like it!! They’re so young in the books that it was kinda hard to find a good way of drawing the situation, so I adapted it to a “officially dating” ring instead of marriage per se, hope you don’t mind ;^)
