Well. That's new.
Anyone see this kind of AO3 bot yet?
The extremely specific commentary. The relevant emojis. The fandom-standard gushing in all-caps. It looked legit. I'd given it 50/50 odds on actually being a real person.
And then they parroted my response comment back to me like it was content in the story. Gave the ol' "can we take this conversation off of AO3?" line.
Watch out for this one. I will continue to respond to comments in good faith, but it's so disheartening when they turn out to be bots after all.
The p*rn bots have evolved again. Now they have weird vaguely government related phrases as usernames instead of a name with random numbers.
Time to sit on my porch with a spray bottle to run off the bots like any other pesky wildlife.
just saw a tumblr warrior who wrote i shit you not at least 5 pages long essay in response to someone's rb and then proceeded to add "i have a life". shit i mean well if you say so...
the corn bot urls are getting suspiciously closer to what could almost pass for rp urls and frankly i do not like it
