So I'm writing a little exercise/experiment fic to work out Aiden's relationship with Guxart with the scenario being Vesemir breaking a no-contact dramatic breakup to let Guxart know that his kit is, indeed, alive, and ofc Guxart comes to Kaer Morhen to confirm this.

Things are revealed.

Lambert is pissed that Vesemir gave him so much shit for dating a cat when he had, apparently, done the same

Aiden is horrified because now he's imagining his father and his (in-law?) lover's father courting each other

Vesemir is so done. Guxart is grabbing popcorn

(the family tree is kind of a circle, but they're all adopted and struggle to admit that they're a family anyway, so...)

Another headcanon about possible Whitaker/Langdon similarities:

So since we already know that after season 1 Robby has made Whittaker his "heir apparent" instead of Langdon, although it makes much more sense for the new students to be taught by one of the R3 doctors (more likely Mel or Cassie, Santos seems really uninterested and probably on purpose). This gave me an idea for another possible reason why Robby would choose Whittaker as Langdon's replacement (besides the obvious that Ruby actually misses Jake, and wants a son).

I saw someone point out that it's likely that when Langdon was an intern or MS 4, he experienced a "trail by fire" during the Covid crisis, which was also the last time to our knowledge that Robby lost someone he was really close to. It's very possible that, just like Whitaker hed experienced his first shift at the Pitt under unusual circumstances. And he got to see Robby in one of his most hard moments, that that's what happened between Langdon and Robby during Covid too. They bonded through the hardship and trauma of what they went through.

** I mean Langdon even enrolled to the ED education fellowship, and Robby gave him a recommendation…. He's trying to fit Whitaker into the hole Langdon left in his heart so baddly 😭😭😭
