my day - no wait, my weekend. plus one.

Friday - Endgame - On the last day of kids spring vacation we saw Endgame, because i knew with my work schedule (nights) and upcoming obligations, it’d be weeks before we got to go...

there’s one character that if i wasn’t in love with before i definitely would be now. for sure.

saturday - overtime - been trying to do as much overtime as i could and yet with all the overtime i’ve been doing it just isn’t helping. also, everyone who does sat overtime is supposed to get free food - they always forget me. :(

sunday - car  -  bestie, kiddo and i went up north to visit a friend, get Thai for lunch and play board games - and oh, pick up the keys to the car. 

thats right! the car situation is all set. except, well, the registration of it. 

i still need to figure how where the funds are coming for that but hey! at least i no longer have to scrounge up money for medical bills or for getting a new car. just.... still need some to pay my rent this month (i’ve got most of it) and electricity and register it.

if anyone wants to help with that - my gofund page is still active, just ignore the dollar amount because i don’t need anywhere near that anymore *THANK GOD*

tuesday - the title - okay, yes, this isn’t the weekend but i finally got a hold of someone who would be willing to purchase the OLD car despite it’s condition. and i just spent probably close to 6 hours trying to find the title.

finally found it. i also produced 3 bags of paper trash while doing it and my apt is a disaster, but i found it!

today (okay yes, today is still tuesday) - presents! - the last of my amazon gifts arrived from my gift cards. i have - with @feathers-and-cigarettes help  - picked out certain comics to snag - Fractions Hawkeye, tales of suspense with hawkeye and winter soldier and a venom comic 

and now my kid is reading it and laughing her butt off

all in all, i’d have to say everythings looking up on the positive side here

Woot! New job interview thanks to my awesome neighbor giving a referral to a recruiter she works with!! Totally hope I get this because my patience and mental health is being pushed to the limits at my current job.

It’s fun to not be extremely depressed all the time.

I get to look outside at the trees and flowers and actually see how beautiful they are. I get to look up at the sky after midnight and smile at the twinkling star.

It’s been so long, and oh how I’ve missed those feelings.

Oh So Busy

Once again, I’ve had an interesting week. I spent Father’s Day taking my oldest child to the air port so that she could go to Florida, and go to Disney World with her best friend, because he graduated college. So needless to say, my mind has been other places.

I’m down 118.1 pounds so far. It’s nice to know that I’m sitting at a 311.8 and I’ve almost lost my wife in weight. That puts me at a…

 “You cheated!” Crystal said with a child like grumble. “I would have won if you didn’t distract me with the mention of a photo opportunity, causing me to stop and make sure I still had my camera.” She continued to grumble. Thandiroq walked beside her, smiling as a he saw the tavern of the Dragon Heart Inn appear on the horizon. “It wasn’t intentional, I just assumed you would have liked to take a picture to commemorate your first adventure.” He said with a chuckle as he reached over to gently punch the Monk on her arm. “How about a compromise? We call it a tie, and we both make the other a meal.” He looked to Crystal with an upraised eyebrow and smile. The Monk returned the look and punched back, pushing Thandiroq to the side with the impact. “Still cheated.” This time she said with a jovial tone in her voice. “Easy now, I don’t cook good as it is, it may turn out even worse with a broken arm.” Thandiroq said with a chuckle as he looked forward to the much closer tavern.

 “I wonder how long we’ve been gone, in truth I lost track of time on our little trek.” He rubbed at the spot Crystal punched him before looking back to her. “Though, I can’t really say that’s a bad thing, it was fun and the company equally so.” He offered a warm smile. Crystal smirked at Thandiroq’s words. “Kind words aren’t gonna keep you from cooking, and I know you can handle more than that light punch.” She chuckled. “I agree, it was fun, and enlightening. Now that I know your style of fighting and the damage you can take.” The smirk turned into a wide smile. “The next time we go into battle together, I know the style I can bring to compliment our team.” Crystal finished by pumping her fist straight up into the air. Thandiroq’s eyes narrowed slightly as he looked at the pose that Crystal now held, at the energy the Monk was giving off, the excitement and the desire for adventure. His eyebrow arched as his eyes close, a wide smile coming to his face. “To the team, the guild, family and adventure.” Thandiroq pumped his own fist into the air as Crystal had done, his eyes opening to see not one, but two silhouettes standing side by side before him. Crystal smiling and the other... Thandiroq  smile widened as he took note of the similarity between the past and the present, before he tapped his fist to Crystals, then he placed his arm around the monks shoulder for a hug. “Let’s head inside, we have quite the story to tell, and I’m sure the others would love to hear it.”
