This is one of my all-time favourite Darcy fics. I adore the sweet, slow-building romance, Tony and Darcy’s friendship is hilarious and the writing style is just so much fun to read. A+++ would read again and again and again.

We Need To Stop Meeting Like This by CircusBones Darcy Lewis/Fandral the Dashing

This story has romance, action, character development, Darcy being a BAMF—basically everything I want in a fic. And this ship is called ‘Fancy’, how can you not love that?!?

My, What Red Lips You Have (Might I Have A Taste?) by sarcastic_fina Darcy Lewis/Tony Stark

A lot of people prefer to view Darcy and Tony as a bromance, or even as father and daughter, but this fic, brief as it is, makes me ship them whole-heartedly as a smouldering hot couple. It’s just one kiss, but it melts my pants every time.

So The Fallen Shall Rise series by dhauren Darcy Lewis/Bucky Barnes/Steve Rogers

In reality I love and rec every single thing in the Darcy/Bucky/Steve tag on AO3, but I had to pick something so this is a series I’m loving right now. It starts with established Steve/Darcy and covers the return of the Winter Soldier. I can’t wait to see where it goes.

London Calling by Britt1975 Darcy Lewis/Clint Barton

I didn’t ship these two until I read this fic. The chemistry between Darcy and Clint practically sparks off the page in this delicious application of the fake relationship trope (one of my favourite tropes :)).

This fic really made Darcy/Bruce work for me. Normally I am much more of a Darcy/Clint fan but this worked unbelievably well. I also absolutely love the level of media analysis in the fic because that speaks to me on a level that I really geek out about. 

Very well written, well paced.

“So, you’re working with the Avengers,” Darcy said. “There’s, jeez, I don’t know, there’s an orphanage burning down. And you race in to save the little orphans, some of whom have adorable British accents, and possibly some kittens, because that’s what heroes do.” Clint choked on his beer. He coughed once and recovered. “Do the kittens have adorable British accents, too?” Darcy waved a hand. “Yeah, sure. Why not? I don’t care about the nationality of the kittens. The point is that there are kittens, and also orphans. The orphans are trapped in a burning building, and they’re all, ‘eeee, someone save us!’” she flailed her arms a little for emphasis, “and you rush in all, ‘I will save you, tiny people!’ Only you can’t, because you’re the Black Widow, and they all promptly piss their little pants and run the other way when they see you. And then maybe the orphanage falls down on your head.”
